Anyone here still use Assistive Touch even with iPhone X? Last time, reason for using Assistive Touch is to prolong the lifetime of the Home button which would spoil over time. Now iPhone X does not have a home button, wonder if Assistive Touch is still very much in use or otherwise.

Nice...I am currently using Assistive Touch to open the Control Centre instead of pulling down from the signal bar area which is a long finger stretch but its been blocking my view and keyboard...guess I'll turn it off lol.

I used assistive touch before on my ipx - to make it easier to pull down the notification center and the control center without having to reach the top of the screen.

Also, for the restart option smile.gif

After a few weeks, I was just too annoyed by the floating icon that I disabled it.

Still useful for me. I reset my phone using assistive touch. I lock my screen with it. I screenshot with it. It’s a faster way to reach my settings.

Almost the reasons I use the Assistive Touch button for, and also to get back to the home page.

Are these easily accessed without the AT button, otherwise?

I think one of the main reasons for using the AT button previously was the concern the home button might wear out since we use it very often to go back to the home page. Now that the X comes without a home button and going back to the home page is as easy as a simple gesture, that concern has been eliminated. However, there are still some useful and quick shortcuts accessible with AT as above. Maybe Apple needs to add more gestures for the X smile.gif

Has anyone tried the battery replacement for Iphone X ? Battery Health shows 99% but the price is attractive.
What i concern is only the waterproof part ... which shop is recommended for this ?

Bro, you can turn on the reachability feature. With this all u have to do swipe down vertically on the bottom bar. This will bring the top screen to middle height and from there you can use the same gesture to bring up the control centre.

1% drop still wanna change? don’t waste money. even if it is 5% still pretty good. Typically if charge correctly and efficiently it wont drop > 5%/year.
