well, i watched the video and i somewhat agree with him.. If the problem faced is on a 500USD phone, still can justify.. but on a 1150USD phone? It should be perfect. We have to accept the phone is a dud.. nice to see but user experience has taken a dive.

we can only hope for two things.. either apple decreases the price or increases the stability and user experience on their next phone.

I experienced the same before!!!!        My phone cant turn on for several days, and i already lodged report to Apple Customer Service Online. They advised me to take it to the nearest AASP to have a check, but after few days, the phone revived 

Still using and no issue so far yet as of now

I always charge before 20% and never let it die except once. Or maybe it is heat when I use my gps waze quite often

I had the same problem too! And it happened just after I unbox my new iphone X less than 1 day   
The phone just moving, open app, and typing randomly...
I sent directly to mac city, and now they say need to send back to Apple for checking, need around 2 to 3 weeks to get the phone back,
and can't even sure if it will be a screen replacement, or  replace with another new device...
Just want to know how exactly the apple warranty works? coz my last iphone 6 never sent for service...

I already asked for 1 to 1 exchange, but the mac city stuff say the decision is not up to them, but Apple HQ to do the decision.
This morning I called Applecare  helpline, also getting the same answer.

I also get to know from other side that recently alot people also only get parts changing, instead of 1 to 1 replacement.
Is that true??

It was my friend’s. Last year he dropped his 7Plus. Body bengkok a bit, screen cracked. I asked QCD if wanna repair how much, they quote rm2k for new replacement set. He dont want to fix and bought the X instead.

Now the X also rosak......

Not sure how much the X gonna cost for replacement set. Tomorrow labour day some more haha

Sent my iPhone X at Machines Northpoint (hardware problem), bought it from Lazada, they can't repair my iPhone and replaced it with replacement unit. They clarify it's replacement unit which is new unit instead of refurbished unit
