What partition format are you using?

what u mean by it doesn't work?

it doesnt detect my storage..i use fat32 and ntfs format..is it need attach to router before run command and reboot?
or because i flash merlin koolshare 7.9.1 from hgg final directly cause this issue?

Update: i reset factory default and set upback connection..then use webshell with command+ reboot.. done enabling usb

is it stock firmware are better than merlin firmware on our devices?
cuz mostly i do want to know the wireless range between this two firmware

Merlin is much better as it can offer higher power

I can't get a proper guide on how to setup Merlin. Can you help, point me to the correct direction?

some info i find worth sharing here:

1. Flashing to original Merlin firmware will result in 5Ghz channel to be limited to 140 only (the firmware checks for region in the bootloader and no region selection available in firmware).
2. HGG firmware is very stable is Router mode, i tested few units and all able to overclock to 1000core/800mem STABLE with no issues, even without active cooling (i highly recommend positioning the router in vertical/standing mode to optimize cooling temp below 80C)
3. HGG firmware is not stable in Media Bridge mode, hence I flashed to Koolshare (we can select the region to unlock more wifi channels) and so far after 60 days still rock solid.

Ive flashed to 380.70_HGG-FINAL and would like to reset back to stock. Can i just do hard reset?

Haha ya, many people trapped. Wanted to upgrade firmware endup bricked hardware. Factory firmware is usually alredy ok and ready to go as PPPoE use. Flash back to old one.

Hard reset is not going to bring back to old firmware. U need to reflash.

now in the PPPoE no longer have option maxis/unifi is it? You need the original firmware.

anyone can get dnscrypt proxy v2 works properly in hgg firmware? installed using script, it goes fine.

but no net after reboot..suspect something might missing in the startup script

Anybody know where to get this Tenda ac18 router now? Many search results in shopee not showing some convincing seller. Seems like ookas no longer sell this. Or are there better alternative nowadays within same price range? Thanks
