guys i have a problem, after setting up WDS on 2nd C1200 router, works well on all mobile phones, but on my TVBOX (Mibox) i am unable to connect to 5ghz WDS router. it says IP configuration failure sometime and connected but no internet. I think its not assigning IP address to the mibox. tvbox supports 5ghz internet.

any idea wats going on here?

i got an evpad. cant seemed to get the  5g connection. i am on mesh system !

Double check the tvbox whether support 5g wifi?
Mine doesn't and wired to Deco M4.

Mine is the 4s, only sapport 2.4g. I just set up the deco M4 as well. I set all in 5ghz coz when set in dual bands, it always goes to 2.4ghz. Hope I got it rite. New user of deco here. 

then is correct lor, coz your 4s only support 2.4g ma.
make sure you enable 5ghz and 2.4ghz in your deco apps. 

Ha..ha..crap evpad!    now my evpad is using the non mesh 2.4 bandwidth . When I initially set the mesh to dual bands, it will always use the 2.4ghz instead of the 5ghz! That's why I switched the 2.4 ghz off from the deco app.

wired it bro, now my tvbox almost running at max speed (mine on 100mbps package) 

I am on unifi 100 as well! I have managed to get my whole 4800sqf house covered with 5ghz of bandwidth at speed of more than 100 Mbps with just two nobes. Amazing! ....

just realise that unifi given C1200 have this firmware version, never update it manually, but not sure and forgot is it came with this firmware or the firmware was update by TM TR-069 , however this firmware version was not available at internet. unifi biz fibre RM139 100mbps install at 2019 September.

also, even after router restart automatically or manually, the ipv4 would still stay the same, for multiple months, but ipv6 would change every restart. fibre modem is Huawei HG8240H5 ONT

if want to change ipv4, have to restart router "many" multiple times during period of few hours. but the next ipv4 would still stay the same even after router restart.

hello, i trying to flash my unifi unit to work as AP.. should i use the official EU firmware from tplink website (Archer C1200(EU)_V1_180124) or the 1 from EDIT7 (C1200v1_eu-up-1.1.3 Build 20180502 rel.46288) thanks!!

I'm using 1.0.0 Build 20180502 rel.45702 (EU)... Wired AP. About a year now and no issues.

Guys, can someone help me which firmware should I use to update if I have Unifi?



There's two firmware for Unifi router and this is very confusing to me.

Also, I'm having this issue where the model keeps on rebooting and sometimes it disconnects by itself. I have to manually reset the router in order to get the internet working. I didn't change any settings since the date of installation.
