i had tried once 94.22 from laptop2go..the same blue screen error pop up which even worst i can get into windows then i have to go in by safe mode, when dell release its 94.22,i downloaded it & use it till now i notice the error only occur when im watching movie & playing game while alt+tab in & out..
Well, that's the thing with beta drivers, you have to test a whole lot of them to get one that is actually usable...

For me, 160.03 Vista 32-bit has so far been a very, very lucky guess... Only problems are Aero corruption when using non-standard (aka 3rd party) OpenGL screensavers, but everything else has been silky smooth as of now... Have 160.20 WHQL sitting in my Download folder for a while now, never got to testing it though... Maybe soon...

I see, I did update my drivers few times ago, but in the end i have to go back with my initial stock driver which is surprisingly alot more stable than others.Yes new drivers were said to be more optimize with new games, optimize my A$$. It really depends, updating a driver is not necessary IF ur settle with any one of em. Especially when ur list of games work fine with the current driver ur using. Unless there is a problem, then updating driver is a must.
I suggest u to either go back to stock, or, try to hit notebookforums, I pretty much sure u will meet someone with ur spec and have the solution for this. Good Luck !
True, I updated to 160.03 because of two things:
1) Far Cry was giving me black skyboxes when running in HDR with stock drivers.
2) Galactic Civilization 2 just wont run with the stock drivers.
And, of all the newer drivers, only 160.03 could run FEAR WITHOUT crashing to desktop...

bravo and respect to you guys here for having such a dedicated fan club here, i'm not using m1210 but has been using dell's laptop and desktop for 8 years now but never come across such intensive support thread around. eiraku, my respect for you for having to start and moderate this.

I just do what I can... And besides, with all the hype surrounding the sexy, brand-spanking-new (and infamously delayed) M1330, the M1210 era is actually coming to a close... So, I thought I should provide some sort of safe haven for users of the CLASSIC XPS... And actually, the thread has quieted down somewhat too, with me going to Uni, and the fact that somehow, lately, not much problems are being reported on the M1210...

Strangely enough...

bravo to dell

and back to my question, anyone pls???hmm...
anyone is using latest driver for their go 7400 running on xp?my graphic driver are having some problem, where the blue screen will pop up when im watching a movie halfway while alt+tab out from games...the error is cause by nv4_disp.dll thingy..anyidea?
Could you do this before? I mean, ALT-TABing out of games and playing movies? Cause IMHO movie players ALSO use graphic acceleration (I know mine uses DirectX 9 to render through VMR 9 Windowless... So the conflict might lay there, as full screen games oft use GA as well, therefore causing a conflict...
