owh!...did canceled it many times...anyway...installed my BIOS driver to version 8 now...it seems to be working fine...  
and i didn't install that driver(wifi driver)...caused the wifi seems to be working properly back...  
but there got some funny part...where, i need to at least restart my XPS two or three times to have a longer usage of wifi(which last non-switch-off for more that a day)...
did you encountered something like this?
did you formatted your XPS?...try to check the first page...Eiraku did included something about installing the bluetooth thingy...

the colour changes from silver to dark silver den to black n also there is some scratches due to my long "fingernails" *din know fingernails can scratch off the paint...  
maybe due to long time usage n sweat from my palm reacts with the organic paint.
i might consider to get those laptop skins to stick it around the palm rest area.
btw for any DELL users who did format their laptop without switching on their bluetooth and cant be detected by windows after installation,
there is no need to reformat ur laptop again thou.
i have found a file from our friendly google that can force detect our bluetooth if windows cant.
not sure how to upload it up here thou....any ideas?
i found the file in some dell websites from other country which is not english

It's a general M1210 related thread, but yeah... Them mods might not take kindly to sales done in the info forums...

On this end, playing around with Sharp E shell... It's like an explorer (you know, the crap that does your taskbar, icons and desktop) replacement (a lot like blackbox, bblean, litestep and the like) that eats a heck of a lot less memory... A bit technical, but it works fine enough and if highly moddable... Not to mention it plays nice with most my games...

well guys, im buying a 9cell to replace my died 6cell. rm300 or so, aftermarket compatible i think. not that it matters. dell selling 6cell for rm600+

lets say i did change the HD,the software-part i just need to insert the cds/dvds given by Dell and it will install all the drivers/applications/programs like what we had originally right?...

which one would you suggest the the 5400rpm or 7200rpm speed?...would there be any power-supply-problem and would lead to unworkable HD?...
