well i do realise that..but having windows defender...antivirus and what not...im pretty confindent about my virus handling capabilities...the main reason i turn off UAC is because when i wanna install something...the thing start up then the UAC thing act resulting in either 1) the installation hang....2) installation complete but game crash or buggy...3)really really slow when opening a disc or running an application or installing something...so in the end i gave it the boot hahahaha

man went game shopping today....i forgot that games at KK are crap expensive...DVD cheapest RM15 a disc...cd they count not as game but is RM3 per CD...say CnC3 has 3 CD's...so thats like RM 9 zzzz

lol,i got problem again,im gonna in trouble,this time is blue screen problem, i found it to be driver conflict, blue screen randomly appear and 0x0000008e, 0x000000c2 mostly happen. tried system restore back to day b4 eveyrthing happen but 0x0000008e appear. again, trying not to format but saving it.

1 reason this mayb coz i tried to tweak my xps alot, especially on booting and start up speed, guess this is the consequences...is there any way to restore driver back to normal? problem oso happen when trying to install mobileforce driver. im using winxp

errr can vista 32 home premium play cs 1.6?


i install and everything...when get to the game screen where u press ok then select ur faction..i hang at the ok part there...1st time play after install it was okay...now i duno what happen...m using LV2G 160.03 driver

i dont know if ur using steam. Vista is really having problem with Steam for now. If ur not using Steam tho, it could be something else. Try to set the correct resolution and such. I dont get what ur saying by the way. Hardcore cs 1.6 player here, one day we shud scrim or at least duel.

nope the cs im playing has no steam...1st time after i install was okay...after that when i play,it loads the map and everything but hang there...right when u enter the map..i tested thru the resolutions alr but seem to be having same problem...grrrr

Well, I got lemons twice and both with overheating problem. DELL initially replaced my first lemon and gave me another lemon. I complained and demanded that they test it themselves. They eventually took my 2nd lemon to be tested for a week, changed a few components and my lemon came back un-lemoned! Before repair, the temp was also around 75-80 celcius. Now it's around 50 something celcius.

p/s: Currently testing out GRAW 2 Demo (Multiplayer). The graphic is pretty sweet. the game is pretty hard tho, far far different from CS. Need to adapt for a lil while and see how it goes. First time play already have ppl invite for a clan. That's why i like new games, so everyone somehow would be on the same level during those starting days. It is how we improve from start to now that distinguish each other levels and skills.

Well, I'm a big fan of Tactical Shooters myself (especially Rainbow 6), and GRAW 2 looks a heck of a lot better, I wonder if it plays okay though? Questions waiting for answers when I get to save enough money for an XBox 360...

I dont really get what u mean by if it plays okay? u mean the game itself? It is hard at least on the PC i would say. I mean GRAW 2 is harder than GRAW 1. I played GRAW 1 on 360 and it wasnt as hard as this one (alot lot of frens in the game told me it wasnt as hard as GRAW 1 even on PC). GRAW 2 have more specific damage on certain part of body and weapons. The graphic is sick even without turning on the SLi. The game even has Ageia's Physix driver installed. It is required even if u dont have the card. Just done couple hours of GRAW 2 with SLi, this game really bring teamplay to the next level. I play good independently in CS, but in GRAW u can but it is super hard especially when opponents move in groups. Luckily somehow i hooked up with this Clan that play F.E.A.R together and very good at it. They like me and ask me to download F.E.A.R Combat and join em there. I would probably decline any clan offering as i have to focus my commitment on study, not gaming. As far as it goes now, i really like this clan as they are fun and chill, but in the same time are one of those who lead the demo servers. Will post some screenshots if u guys interested.

Damn i was doing really good tonite; started out yesterday with rifleman, then assault, demolition, and support. But tonite i tried sniper and I was doing good. Turned out to be im the sharpshooter for the team. I dont really like it bcoz specifically in GRAW 2 sniping wont get as many kills as others.

Added on June 29, 2007, 4:20 pmThere are actually 2 types of play. One of it is the normal Team DeathMatch where u kill each other. The other is Recon vs Assault. This is new and quite fun for me. Recon is offense while Assault is defense. Assault need to cover 3 Adats (or Asat) i forgot the name already, and recon need to plant C4 and blow at least 2 to win the round. Weapon choice for this type goes by rank, the more u kill, assist, heal or anything the more points u get. Upgrade ur rank then ull get more weapon choice. Both type is fun, but i prefer the old TMD (teamdeath match).

oho looks like i have discovered a little flaw with my dear xps....the battery latch abit dodgy...have to pull the battery at the right place (near the copper leads there)...if not the latch would get stuck halfway and only half of the batt loose......solution: thump the batt back for the latch to reset to default position and then try again

not a major prob tho cause i dun plan on taking out the batt (just wanted to see how big the batt is lol,its actually about the same size compared to my fren's 6 cell batt on his acer 6291..and mine's a 9-cell!)...maybe it's just me bein too gentle with the latch thing and it bite back

and yea...must say i have to agree the keyboard does feel cheap...if look closely its actually not so uniform lol

i still can't play cs 1.6...the one i bought said specifically on the cover "CS 1.6 No Steam Version"

it is not as easy as before to kill now. Even out of 3 sniper, only one come with one shot one kill, but then if u manage to damage the vital part, if not they still wouldnt die. To balance then it out, that awp (that is what i called according to cs weapon, it looks alike) reloads every single shot and it loads so F slow. I manage to no scope couple of times with 200+ ping lags, imagine how bad is the accuracy for that (with 32 players in the server). Sometimes i need to shot 3-5 yards ahead the rushers just to get him kill. No scope was always a reflect, especially when he scared the S out of me. I had a bad round right before this post. I was in top 3 but my kill death ratio suck, i die alot then i kill. I like the silenced mp5, enemy wont see its coming. Normal guns fire will reveal position especially sniper and rifles.



in case ur wondering, i got that kill btw. That dude was sneaky, see my health was red thanks to him.

really?...i thought u said no steam would work on vista?....but the funny thing is...right after i installed and i played...it was running great...was on 1024 x 768 (no widescreen) direct3d...but then when i exited and played again later...always hang when entering a map...soo im guessing something went wrong somewhere zzzz

eiraku..is there a way to off system restore but make manual restore points?..because when i turn off it deletes ALL the restore points and cant manually create a point if it's in the disable mode..automatic create resotre points is okay actually...but it creating soo many of them and its eating up my hdd space especially when i install and uninstall stuff

finally got the latch...i did exactly what u said...turns out i have big fingers and couldnt push it in enuff for it to click in place..had to use something to poke it in deeper
