Why do you need a JR Pass if you're driving?

Are you driving a train?

I just roughly go through the comments. I thought jr pass is a day pass which cover all the attractions.

Now only realise is for train transit smile.gif

Guys, need some advice. Can we use our Malaysian Credit Card to purchase Disneyland Tokyo tickets through the official Disney Tokyo website ? No matter what credit card i use, it seems to say "credit card no authorize".

Can your CC shop online ?

You can buy the Disney ticket from family mart that have the green machine. Ask help from the cashier.

In Tokyo there’s 2 observation building I would like to go, but need u guys give opinion which one should I choose?

- Tokyo Metropolitan Goverment Building
- Roppongi Tokyo City View Observation deck

One is free, one isn't.

FYI, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building South Observatory Deck is closed for renovation until Spring 2019. We went in Sept. just missed it, so only went up the North Deck (which opens until 11pm at night). Haven't been to Roppongi Tokyo City View decks ... from photos, look nicer, especially the Sky Deck.

You can buy online from Klook. They will send u a pdf to print as entrance ticket (with QR code)

If you prefer to buy offline, you can buy it from JTB Malaysia.

When I was working in Tokyo, I use to go to Roppongi Tokyo City View once a month for lunch or bring a customer for sight seeing. It is very nice especially the sky deck and you can see Mt Fuji on a very clear day. The lunch is actually nothing much to shout about thought.

anyone planned multicities before?
arrive New Chitose
spend 3 days in Sapporo
spend 3 days in Otaru
spend 3 days in Hakodate
take bullet train to Tokyo
spend 5 days in Tokyo (with 2 days Disneyland)
depart Haneda
*
Not recommended travel multicities. Vacation should be hassle free

Lol... I’m asking for advice on whether I should arrive in New Chitose and depart Tokyo and travel in between via Shinkansen/train, not whether it’s hassle free or not sweat.gif doh.gif

Quite obvious isnt it, if your question is not about hassle free or not.
You have already make plans on your travel, so whats the point of going back to Chitose to fly back. So what do you really want to know?

At Disney Sea, better stay till 8pm or over.

6pm got spectacular show and firework.

You will regret if didn't watch. 5pm something, go straight to the Mediterranean Harbor front and get a front view toward the pond.

You can dinner at Mediterranean Harbor. The spaghetti and chicken not bad.

Has anyone bought the 3 day Shoryudo Bus Pass for Takayama, Shirakawago, Nagoya, Toyama and Kanazawa? I have bought it from Expedia but realised that reservations are required. How do I reserve? Expedia didn't exactly give me the bus pass yet as I got to redeem at the Nagoya Airport. I'm really afraid as there's risks that the bus is full and the time I desire is unavailable. the bus pass is gonna be used from 21 December - 23 December, is it peak season? I don't wish to spend extra money on the trains or anything like that, as Ive left bigger budget for food and shopping. Thanks. I just want to be shared some real life experiences. Thanks once again

ok. since you guys mention like that, i eat inside and stay till park close.

I got some ideas now, after more research but i need some recommends.

Day 2
1pm - 5pm : Since Im in Tokyo Big Sight, i will spend 4hrs in Odaiba (divercity / aquacity /decks)
5pm : back at Tokyo Big Sight as transport back to hotel (apa hotel sugamo ekimae)
7pm till 10.30pm : need some ideas where to go /do

If im in sugamo, going for dinner at 7pm and would spend sometime sight seeing. Where would be the best area/place to go ?

Day 3
Tour
Morning till 4pm : Meiji Jingu Shrine, Imperial Palace East Garden, Tokyo Tower, Shinjuku
4pm onwards : i will be in area of Shinjuku
4pm - 10.30 : need some ideas where to go /do

From Shinjuku, would it be advisable to spend the rest of the night in Shibuya ?

Day 2 Go Tokyo Big Sight first.
Then spend the rest of the whole day including night in Odaiba (Gundam, sit the ferris wheel, go joypolis, go Oedo Onsen).
Day 3 Go Shinjuku Robot Restaurant. Otherwise go Shibuya play Go-Kart https://maricar.com/en/shibuya.html
