do i need those jr pass mention by the way?

I just roughly go through the comments. I thought jr pass is a day pass which cover all the attractions.

Now only realise is for train transit

I have drafted my free & easy trip to tokyo as follow.

Can anyone advise me on my queries.

1) Plan to stay at 1 hotel for day 7 to day 11. Which district/city is most concenient to stay. I put Shijuku as a draft

2) Please recommend any other district/city to visit for day 10,11&12. Any name will do as i have no specific preferences. Just go there relax.

Please apply the International Driving Permit from JPJ. Just bring 1 passport size & Rm150 will do. The IDP is valid for 1 year upon application.

You can skip the car inspection if you op for full CWD (Collision Damage Waiver). Normally i get full CWD due to hussle free

Thanks. Some district name will help. I will focus on east, south, north, west rather than specific attraction.

CWD is like car insurance when you rent the car. You can choose not to buy, buy the basic coverage or buy the full coverage depends on your budget.

If any Collision or Damage to the car, the CWD will cover for it. You can choose to op out and bare the own risk. It is up to personal preference

It is really up to personal preference. some people will tell you, "my driving skill so good why waste money to buy? you look down on me? ".
I can only share my car rental experienced and you have to decide yourself.

But one thing for sure, International Driving License is a must to apply from JPJ.
If some one telling you no need because the staff doesn't check, just ignore them. The staff doesn't check and do you have IDP to rent a car is different thing.
If they check and you don't have it, then your whole trip is ruined.

There is a mix feeling for me to choose whether Narita or haneda.
Both got pro and cons.

Haneda good in term of closer distance to City
Narita good in term of Arrival & Departure time (KUL <-> NRT)

Normally they will bulldoze the snow from the main road after snowing. But you still need to be cautioned because the snow which compressed become ice is very slippery. You will slidely lost control even roll over a hand palm size of ice.
