Guys,

1. How's the Ride sharing / Uber / Grab scene in Japan? Cheaper than Taxi? still not common?

2. I am looking for hourly rate hotel in tokyo and i found that only "love" hotel and Internet Cafe provide that. Does Capsule or hostel charge hourly? Gonna check out at 12pm and go do some last min shopping but want to find a "proper" place to rest and bath and chill until night flight back to KL.

When it comes to custard puff, the ones in Japan is the best I've ever had. During Sakura season there'll be a lot of limited edition desserts and bread. Starbucks even had Sakura Latte the last time I went in spring. One of the shop also had sakura ice cream.

Definitely worth trying as you'll only get these when they're in season.

Last time I think I left my onsen in Gora around 10am and reach Kawaguchiko bus station by 5pm, including 2 hrs spent at Gotemba Premium Outlet

If you are a Initial D fan, you'll find the first half journey quite familiar  biggrin.gif . It's basically the mountain road for the 2nd last team battle (Team Spiral) and the Ryusuke-Rin Hyojo deathmatch dogfight

Just watched Stage 1 10+ years ago, that time borrow friend DVD to watch

No problem, I know what you mean. I'm having the same dilemma but friends and I have agreed to do Fuji-Q Highland, so there's even less time for us to go around sweat.gif

Additionally, if the ryokan/ hotel you're staying doesn't have an onsen, you can go to a bath house for a visit (whichever near your accommodation). Just pay a fee, go in and enjoy onsen for an hour or two (with Mt Fuji view) and then balik. This was recommended by another Mod, after I told him my Hotel/ inn's onsen doesn't have Mt Fuji view. The one he went was Yurari, but from where I stay, Benifuji is nearer so I'll go to that one instead.

Wow, thanks again for your recommendation, definitely need to go enjoy Onsen there

For those visited lake kawaguchi and shibazakura festival

1. Any idea if can purchase one way ticket for the shibazakura festival bus liner?

2. any other bus that stop at the festival?
It's seems the blue line bus only reach the last lake and from there to the festival need walk 3km.

Why u want one-way ticket? It's actually a bit remote in, so I don't think there's other public buses beside the buses run by the Festival organiser

Because my ryokan at Lake Shoji (next lake)
We can take another bus from last lake to the ryokan. No need go from kawaguchiko station to festival then come back kawaguchiko then go back there again.
After the festival can straight go back ryokan.

I not sure am I reading this correctly, https://www.westjr.co.jp/global/en/travel/s...cess/train.html

According to the website, last train departing from KIX is 10:16pm ? Your flight landed at 9:30pm and you were able to board the last train?

if you planing to buy osaka amazing pass, you may some time queue for it in information counter
if really cannot manage to get the train, bus is a option, bus will stop in umeda, many taxi is waiting at there, change taxi to your hotel
