What's the fuel range you're getting per tank on the Z9?

*
If commute to work with sensible speed (highway), 220-240 km.
If commute to work with not so sensible speed (highway), 200-210 km.
If commute to work though the city, 180-200 km.

Averaging 17.1 km/L

It is much lighter than the Z800. By around 20kg. And I think the overall weight distribution of the Z900 is towards the lower part of the bike compared to Z800.

Lighter, yes. But I still wont recommend any motorcycle with 100bhp for anyone just starting on a clutch motorcycle.

I had to learn this the hard way.

Urkk, what happened to you sir?
Anyway, yes, 125 BHP motorcycle for a beginner is overkill...

Three crashes and a broken shoulder that's what. The first crash just on the second day of owning my Z8 laugh.gif

Was sweating bullets every time I tried riding again after each crash. Had to force myself to ride daily to work for a few years to finally be comfortable when riding.

Anyone has soften the rear shock? Will it raise the height? Hows the handling?

I felt that it is too hard compared to my previous ride. Can really feel the hardness when going through small bumps.

Have you gotten your fork and shock sag settings set? You can try to tweak it yourself by adjusting the preload and rebound. Not sure how to set, you need to google for guides. Or send it to a shop and set it.

mechanically... both bikes are exactly the same. just the difference in accesories and color.

so depends on whether or not u think the extra accesories is worth it. and whether or not u like the color the SEs come in.
