I recieved my card in january 2019. RM10k on bigpay, RM9k on retail spending. Spend it within 1 month upon received. I didnt get the normal miles tho.

bigpay was ok and i did some repeated spending at the same retail store ok too.

Since then just keep the card to collect golden lounge voucher.

Good strategy. I was also going to do half BP and half retail, but ended swiping 18k as partial payment for a piano (few days after getting the card). Card has been in drawer ever since.

As I only got the card and swiped a couple of weeks ago, I guess I will have to wait a few more months until I see the 60k miles.

Applied through RTC.
The credit card I wanted to apply for(Petronas rebate) wasn't listed as an option on their website. Applied at branch at first but encounterd some issues. Then their CS told me to call RTC directly to apply will be easier.

Alright thanks for your info. Ya RTC quite fast. Applied yesterday through their call and today approved. Just that I think if through RTC only eligible for RM50 gift card promo (min spend 800). 😢

Wonder if it is worth getting this card just to spend MYR250 on dining and get MYR30 cashback each month. Any bros here going through the trouble?

To get the extra MYR30 cashback would require MYR3000 spending. Total 60 cashback on 3000 spending is only 2% cashback overall, which isn't that good IMHO.
