@cybpsych , thanks and great information in there.
Incidentally, anyone has tried to use the World Elite to access the First Class MAS Lounge at Tullamarine Melbourne airport? In the CIMB Website, it mentioned that Enrich cardholders can only access to this list, never mentioned about other MAS Lounges in other countries. List of Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounges: KLIA International, KLIA Regional, KLIA Domestic, London, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching https://www.cimbbank.com.my/en/personal/pro...mastercard.html |

QUOTE(coolgoh98 @ Mar 26 2019, 08:28 AM) hi, how long it take for your credit card to be approve via their cimb website ? Don't waste your time applying from the website, you will not get your card forever!cimb credit card seem not very active. Just walk into the CIMB card centre to get it e.g. MidValley or Sunway Piramid. |

My view on the CIMB cards are they are targetting low to mid range customers by offering good benefits on entry level cards.
Benefits on the Premier cards are joke to me. Take a look at their VI. Enrich cards are good benefits in my opinion, but they come with a price, and targets high income customers. |

QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 27 2019, 10:31 PM) Not sure if I'm imagining it or what. Once you cancelled your card and it’s no longer appearing in the CIMBClicks then you won’t get spammedI didn't receive SMS or email about their constant spamming on CashLite after I cancelled their credit card. Or it is just a coincidence? |

Hi Everyone - looks like my turn needs clarification.
I would like to know if we will earn any Bonus Miles (and not Bonus Points) for using our Enrich cards for car insurance (e.g. ETIQA) and MYEG? If I am referring to the card I am holding T&C (https://www.cimbbank.com.my/content/dam/cimb-consumer/personal/pdf/Credit-Card/CIMB-Enrich-World-Elite/EliteCreditCard_TnC.pdf), it only states 2. For each retail spending transaction towards the payment of goods and/or services at any merchant, Co-Brand Card cardholders (hereinafter called “Cardholders”) will earn CIMB Bonus Miles to be credited into the Cardholder’s Co-Brand Card account with CIMB. The earn rates at which the CIMB Bonus Miles are earned from the retail spending transaction shall be determined by CIMB and notified to the Cardholder from time to time. Earn rates for CIMB Bonus Miles may be on a tiered basis and may vary depending on whether they are local or overseas r etail spending transactions. Retail spending transactions shall mean purchase transactions for goods and services including online purchases for goods and services incurred for personal consumption and not for business purposes and shall not include betting or gaming transactions. For the avoidance of doubt the following transactions are also herein expressly excluded and shall not be treated as eligible retail spending transactions for the purposes of earning CIMB Bonus Miles:- (a) Cash advances, cash withdrawals, cash deposits and/or betting or gaming transactions; (b) Retail transactions in respect of purchases of petrol, diesel and any other purchases made at the petrol kiosk; © Retail transactions which are disputed by the Cardholders; (d) Payment of the annual fees or service charges, delivery charges, cash payments, card replacement fee, goods and services tax, dispute charges, fraud charges, interest/finance charges, cash advance fees, processing fees, or any other kind of fees and/or penalties whether imposed by CIMB or otherwise;. (e) Instalment payment plan transactions; and (f) Recurring payment transactions; But never mentioned anything about Insurance, Government payments like the Maybank cards. Any input anyone? |

This is good information ! I will forget about reloading Boost with this card then.Btw, how did you know you did not get any BM? From what source? |

Well you may hit 18K spending and get the 60K Enrich miles as the Acquisition program spells, but you lose out of the additional miles you're supposed to get with the 18K spending. These Enrich cards will get you 9K miles that you deserve. This post has been edited by guanteik: Apr 4 2019, 10:41 PM |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Apr 12 2019, 05:19 PM) Quick question re CIMB card with annual fees. For Enrich World Elite Mastercard, the annual fee is listed as RM1215.09. The fee gets charged upon activation; within the first statement of your credit card.Does this fee get charged upon activation, or only after 1 year? I note that there is no mention of first year waiver, so I'm just wondering how this works. |

fantasy1989And... also to get the proof. For example, if your flight delayed more than 4 hours, do get written proof that the flight indeed delayed 4 hours.

CIMB is doing good by enhancing their existing credit card...while most banks are cutting benefits.
However, CIMB is doing a bad job for cutting the benefits of the Enrich WE travel protection from USD2M to USD500K. That's a huge drawback. |
