Can, but it's not a "normal" type of account. Some restrictions. E.g. next time if you try to apply for CIMB LAZADA prepaid card (supposed to be through CIMB clicks) they won't allow saying your account not authorized, then CS will ask you to open another clicks account using your savings account. Whereas non CIMB customers no need to do so. Weird one, something to do with their internal systems. The account works for checking bill and statements though.

You should refer to that particular bank online portal.

Most of them are free under Instant Interbank Fund Transfer up to RM 5.
And GIRO IBG could be 10 cents or free.

If I was abroad, let's say in Europe or US (where it is the opposite side of the world) and CIMB system was down between 11.59PM-12.10AM in Malaysia (or if there are any longer early morning downtime) will this have any effect on my usage overseas? Will my payments get declined?

The CIMB system is down for daily CIMB Clicks maintenance, it has nothing to do with credit cards usage.

hi all, I have the CIMB Cash rebate card, however not sure whether the rebate for groceries only applies to specific Tesco only? i.e. Tesco Extra Puchong and Melaka?

Because I would usually do grocery shopping at Tesco Nilai, so meaning that I will not be entitled for the 2% cash rebate?

They track using MCC code.
As long as it uses the grocery MCC mode.

I see. How do I know that that specific merchant uses MCC code for groceries? Sorry for asking too many questions.

Other alternative is to track my online statement i guess.

You won't know unless you call CS immediately after you swiped.
So far for physical store, Tesco Extra and Tesco should be using same MCC.
Not sure about Tesco Online.
