Okay, so my credit card application for CIMB Visa Signature is being processed. I earn about 60k (which is the min. salary requirement) and was advised by a rep from CIMB to apply for it - I applied at the bank. Anyway, I always do a credit check every 3 months or so and saw that my current CIMB CC application (was requesting) for was a credit limit of RM2000 only. So, was wondering if I was approved will I only get a limit of RM2k in my CIMB Visa Signature (which I am aware is just super weird) OR did they purposely put a "lower" credit limit for easy approval and will be given a normal credit limit after? Hope my question makes sense.
I am aware that there could also have been a typo on their end and if so, what is the usual minimum credit limit given for Visa Signature?

Hi guys, new to the usage of credit card.
Does spending on the 28th of this month count into next month's total or this month's total?

I need clarification about MasterCard CB https://ringgitplus.com/en/credit-card/CIMB...MasterCard.htmlwhat does it mean statement rm3000, cb 5%? If i only use for petrol, then my monthly statement would be roughly rm300 only. So I'm will not get 5% cashback?

This Statement Balance is more tricky that cumulative spending imposed by Citibank Cash Back or Standard Charted Just One.

Combined with Boost e-wallet (0.2% rebate and RM2 for cash-out, so no gain no loss) to achieve STATEMENT BALANCE >RM3k. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Sep 22 2018, 08:04 AM

QUOTE(jiangchen @ Sep 21 2018, 05:45 PM) I am using Cash Rebate. Actually I mean to ask about payment only. Pay the STATEMENT BALANCE (not outstanding balance!) within 20 days after the monthly statement/bill is issued. Your transaction on 28/9 will take a few days to be posted but remain unbilled till a monthly bill (a fixed date every month) is issued. For CIMB CR/Petronas Mastercard, AVOID advance payment (ie before statement is issued) as you need STATEMENT BALANCE >RM3000 to enjoy better rebate. CIMB Petronas Mastercard is only better for spending at Petronas. The rest is the same as Cash Rebate Platinum (0.2% for others) This post has been edited by David83: Sep 22 2018, 11:26 AM

First question to ask your ownself is are you a Petronas pumper? If yes, then CIMB Petronas Mastercard is offering 1% more. If no, then Cash Rebate Platinum is better as it covers more category.
