lol I did that before, but didn't really help with dusts stuck to the TG on the bottom. Need cello tape for that, and wouldn't recommend pulling out the top part of the TG only to clean that part since after several times the TG adhesive wears down and you won't be able to get rid of bubbles near the top border section. Lesson learned, threw my 1st TG out after that lol

69 is the clear one without black/white border, it doesn't cover as much as the 85 with border, but even the 85 is not full, the full one is 3D which cost about the same but different brand, which is not recommended..

I think the clearn one without borders looks better though. Im using the Benks 3D type full coverage. Quality seems better than the Hoda though.

The 1% / minute is about right. I bought 2 chargers . One is Apple Original 29w another is Aukey PA-Y10, both charger gave the same speed. I am not using usb-c converter though, also bought the original Apple USB-C to lightning cable

From your test, I may save money on additional cable. It’s super expensive... 119 per cable

From the test results in the earlier link. I'm using a power bank capable of outputting 29W. But I'm only getting result near to 12W. I believe normal lightning + converter is the bottleneck. Still need USB-C to lightning to get full potential. However the difference between 29W and 12W is not night and day. So it's still cheaper to get maybe a better USB-C converter to pair with original lightning cable.

In the meantime, the Ringgit has quietly strengthened a fair bit compared to the beginning of the year when it was at 4.4x. Or could it be just a false calm before another storm? biggrin.gif

While I don’t think Apple will revise it’s pricing officially till the exchange rate hits 3.7x or lower, it’s interesting nonetheless. Makes the US sim-free sets very tempting if you happen to be there.

Last year there was a GIANT scratch all the way across the screen on my iphone 7+. It took Apple 2 weeks + to replace my unit.

If you bought 64GB then I guesss the process might be faster.

You need powerbank and power adapter with PD (Power Delivery) capability to fast charge iphone 8/X. Plus the lightning to USB-C cable. Those cable are slightly thicker than normal USB-A cable. Need it for power current transfer.

if you want to utilise Power Delivery feature of USB-C, you need to have USB C because CC1 and CC2 connection is required. Using a converter is not possible simply because USB-A does not have the necessary pins connected to the lightning cable.

if you guys want to do some reading:

Guys, when I was showering just now a thought suddenly came up.
Remember when Apple removed the headphone jack last year and replaced it with a barometer of some sort and everyone bashed Apple for doing that because apparently there is enough room to fit the jack in?

My thought is that Apple removed the jack in 2016 so when they announce the X without the home button, the shock that will follow if they announced that they removed the jack will send some people crazy. Given how tight the space is inside the X.
So in other words they primed us with the absence of the jack, so when they remove the home button, it won't be such a huge deal anymore.

This might also explain why the AirPods are originally delayed like crazy because it was intended for 2017, but Apple had to prime all of us so they rushed it to announce on 2016.

Just a thought.
