That's the dream, isn't it? Unfortunately every iPhone since the 6 have curved glass on the front, making it impossible to stick properly. If the glass were all transparent, it would create ugly bubbles on the curved areas where the protector cannot adhere to the glass.
*
There were tempered glass screen protectors last time which is full coverage that is slightly curved at the sides to match with the curved screen phones. But I can’t really find that anymore though

Morale of the story: Don’t be greedy. He could have made additional 200 from you had he accepted your first counter offer. Good for you, bro!

Yes I am. Definitely can feel the difference, feeling is very close to actual glass on the phone (since it is claimed to use technology from Corning). It’s slim as well at near 0.2mm. Best of all the accurate and consistent installation when done at an Apple Store.

i second that!  rclxms.gif  thumbup.gif
very smooth surface

perfect combination with my spigen ultra hybrid crystal clear, im quite confident that my phone will have sufficient protection hehe

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah, I saw the installation video on a unit being done at the Apple Store and was impressed, too bad it’s not a full covered one. Reviews online have been mixed though, some claiming it’s too fragile and even cracks on its own biggrin.gif

No la, bro. I don’t feed scalpers. Even at RRP, I’d prefer to walk into a store and swipe my credit card for the points biggrin.gif

X is the best phone right now in the market. Once you go for Apple, you won't go back to Android. If budget allows, of course iPhone X definitely the choice.
*
Even as a hardcore Apple user, I wouldn’t claim X to be the best phone in the market. There just isn’t any “best” phone in the market. There’s only the “best phone for you” in the market. Every phone is good, just depends on what the consumer is looking for smile.gif

In fact that is my worry also. Will the slight missed alignment affect the front camera view and causing more failure in Face ID?

You know, a slight miss alignment will affect the camera viewing angel a lot in relative to the distance

Yeah, the other issue with a misaligned or cheapo full coverage tempered glass is that sometimes it messes up your phone’s proximity sensor, though I suspect it won’t be a problem with the X, seeing how obvious the notch is!

I believe it’s fragile due to it being only slightly thicker than 0.2mm. I remembered one manufacturer told me that tempered glass should be at least 0.3mm thick for it to provide decent protection against impact.

Why I chose the Belkin ones sold in Apple Store is due to it claiming to use technology from Corning (so the feeling should be very similar to the naked glass on the phone) and I only want to protect from potential scratches. So a thinner glass protector should still fulfill my requirements.

Lastly, it’s just to experience the installation process st the Apple Store. laugh.gif

Love Otterbox, but it’s seriously heavy and bulky. I used to use the Otterbox Defender with my iPhone 4 and it really felt like a brick. A friend joked you could throw my phone at a dog and the dog would die of head injuries!

Haha, yeah, exactly. The experience of having it installed at the Apple Store!

I’m currently using Honda 0.33mm full coverage on my 8 Plus and it’s very, very good. So that’s my other option.
