You don't have to pay more brother. The all clear glass is in fact cheaper with those with black strips. And I think the coverage is pretty much the same....both 2.5D. RM85 vs RM69.

I think I will go with the clear one...

u cant get stock directly. they wont allow. u must purchase through apple store (SG). they will open for few minutes usually at 4pm and 11pm~12 pm. u need to keep on refresh. Just buy any day and put any time slot for the next day even if u plan to pick it up over the weekend. they will keep it for u for at least a month till u pick the item. So try to get it every night. Currently if u try to purchase from Online store, they will say "pick up is unavailable at orchard". Wait till it change to available at 11 pm tonight ya. I think they have quota released everyday.

Too be honest, I don't know. To me, he doesn't seems to be legit in some ways. I revoke my order from him right after he requested to deposit half of the device price.

Just wondering how usually people line up at a new iPhone launch event? datang awal got anything extra? Considering getting an X from local store this 24th.

Which local store? telco or reseller local store? not sure on getting the iphone at any premium reseller. The previous iphone purchase all were done through telco contract. they have their pre-order available and u can choose to get it a their store without the need to wait for a long period of time. the last time i got meal/supper was from maxis which were the iphone 5 (Mid-night launch) at MaxisDanga Bay. The next few iphone, they were offering midnight delivery.

My friend queued at Apple Store on Sunday morning and managed to secure one unit on the spot. Quite lucky huh!

If you are prepared to queue, go one day ahead of launch day.

That's the dream, isn't it? Unfortunately every iPhone since the 6 have curved glass on the front, making it impossible to stick properly. If the glass were all transparent, it would create ugly bubbles on the curved areas where the protector cannot adhere to the glass.
