guess subsidized also not much
*
I think the subsidies are pretty standard - starting off at about RM1,000 - RM1,200 for the lowest plan and capping off t about RM1,600 to RM1,800 for the highest plan.

Hahahah yup, but sadly Digi do not treat me well. Hahahaha blue cube give out free phone 😂😂😂

But I still back to Digi hahahaha

DiGi had massive stock shortages for the 8 Plus, I noticed some complaints on FB. Hopefully they'll sort out the stock situation for the iPhone X.

Iphone X tops display list, winning over Galaxy Note 8 - Android Authority -

Its official, even Android Authority admits Iphone X's display tops over the galaxy Note 8. Display Mate awards the title to Iphone X as having the best display for a smartphone, over riding its award to the Note 8 two months ago.
*
Even so, I think it's hard to notice with the naked eye on the differences of the display between the Note 8 and the X for those of us with untrained eyes. But having come from the 7 Plus to the 8 Plus' True Tone display, I definitely think the True Tone ones are closer to real life.

Plan to buy from Apple online store. Slower to receive but oh well. At least, it gives me time to survey the cases.

No recontracting with maxis? biggrin.gif

Maxis ada zerolution? tongue.gif If not, lets change to other telco.
*
No more di.

Actually, if you buy it on a normal contract, it's far cheaper. Also, maxis allows you to do up to 24 months EPP with 0% interest and no surcharge with certain credit cards.

If we purchase with 24 months EPP with 0%, do they bound into contract with Maxis?
For example 6k for iphone, 6k/24 = 250 per month.. Do we need to subscribe for Maxis line?
*
Yes, of course. Otherwise they won’t sell you the phone.

Then it will be more expensive, we are paying for RPP and do EPP to convert 24 months + line contract per month. If we are buying with Digi, they subsidies a lil of RPP amount, then we will pay for device price, the remaining 24 months = digi line contract price only.
*
Of course it won't be at RRP, bro. You'll be doing the EPP on the subsidized device price.

Ohh! Then it is the same as purchasing with other telco then. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
*
No worries. Choose the telco based on which one provides the best coverage in your area bro, not the one with the cheapest plan or cheapest phone price biggrin.gif

Yea you are right. I have been with Digi for couple of years. But under my daddy name. Gonna get 1 under my own name. Then few years later, i can purchase again with Digi without upfront payment.. Btw which phone are you using? I saw you are always in iphone thread and also Samsung Galaxy Note 8. As recently im doing comparison with Note 8 vs iPhone X, i have been active in these 2 threads and your name always appear smile.gif
*
Currently using iPhone 8 Plus after trying the Note 8 for three weeks or so. I’m primarily an iOS user but I like to try Android’s latest and greatest every now and then. Next on my to try list is Mi Mix 2 and of course, the iPhone X smile.gif

I’m stuck with them so I sign a contract with them every time it expires smile.gif

Get a GST claim to compensate the price different, make sure you don't buy online at Apple Store 1st if you intend to claim GST. From my CC chargers, it cost me >RM6k for 256GB. So MYS cheaper in this case
*
Ya, or I could just get it directly from Changi with GST exemption. Let’s see.

Yeah, it’s a bit warm at times, but I dunno, I kinda like it. I’ve tried it with and without True Tone on, and decided I liked it on.

Oh... and I forgot to tell you how good the camera is.

Read this.

The IPhone X's camera is like having a photo studio in your pocket.
What are you waiting for?????  brows.gif  brows.gif  brows.gif

Too lazy to read the article just yet but in summary, besides the front selfie Portrait Lighting effects, anything else different compared to the 8 Plus?
