true, but can be the 3rd party authorized SC has different policies than apple. normally they have different level of partnership in which some levels dont have to follow 100% the policies set by the principle. i dunno. but as long as people know they can contact apple careline in case of any issue, perhaps these 3rd party SC can assist sending the overseas set to SG.
last time i bought imac from apple my online store, they still need to send it to SG when i sent it for broken hinge. i guess our local SC has very limited parts thus they 'prefer' to reject warranty claim at the first request.
Yeap true. They can accept at their own discretion since they are third party. Still unfair though. It's made most Malaysians have the misconception that Apple doesn't provide International Warranty and that a "Malaysian model" is worth more than any other original Apple product from a different country.
