Like I said on my theory before, our market is determined by Singapore side for the past few years. And that's the reason why we have a price similar to Sing dollar compared to previous where we are more likely to follow USD pricing. Thus, we can only get the apple store if Singapore said so. Or else, we will stick with those "premium reseller"

And please don't blame GST.

Nway, I wanna share my experience buying iPhone x in singapore. The worst ever experience crossing the causeway. I've been detained by the narcotic team lead by a female malay young officer. 100% car check with urine check. Best of all, my father who Ride with me to singapore for work, almost late for his work.

Cost for second link tuas - Plaza toll around Rm8 +~$10,
ERP - flat rate $5
Parking for 10 minute at Orchard road $3
Crossing causeway rm10 + $2
Dinner at McDonald's $25

Total lost rather than having it cheaper price
Rm200 minimum.

Moral of the story, just wait for Malaysia's Launching date.

I almost forgot. I lost another RM100 due to previous courts SG scam advertisement purchase which stating item "IN Stock" but turn out to be Preorder..

u cant get stock directly. they wont allow. u must purchase through apple store (SG). they will open for few minutes usually at 4pm and 11pm~12 pm. u need to keep on refresh. Just buy any day and put any time slot for the next day even if u plan to pick it up over the weekend. they will keep it for u for at least a month till u pick the item. So try to get it every night. Currently if u try to purchase from Online store, they will say "pick up is unavailable at orchard". Wait till it change to available at 11 pm tonight ya. I think they have quota released everyday.

from the statement posted above, i think its purely conversion thingy. they have given full refund based on SGD and over the right its after conversion. (debit/credit thing)

Which local store? telco or reseller local store? not sure on getting the iphone at any premium reseller. The previous iphone purchase all were done through telco contract. they have their pre-order available and u can choose to get it a their store without the need to wait for a long period of time. the last time i got meal/supper was from maxis which were the iphone 5 (Mid-night launch) at MaxisDanga Bay. The next few iphone, they were offering midnight delivery.

Yeah. That's the time where people are cursing scalpers where the stocks were told to be plenty. Now, no more. Most of the info on how to get the iPhone I ve read it in the hardwarezone (Sg) forum. Plenty of info there including the yellow tint and the green line at the edge of oled. U guys might wanna see there if u wanna have some checklist on what to check upon receiving the ipX

i would suggest dont get the iphone at singapore. just wait for Malaysian launch. Unless u already purchase at online apple store waiting for pickup. they will refresh the stock at 4pm and 11 pm for tomorrow pickup at orchard road. keep on refreshing F5 at their checkout. Put the item on the basket and make sure u fill in the CC earlier and hafal the CVV CC code. The time windows for u to finish everything will be around 5 minutes. I have previously missed the 11pm due to the problem putting billing "address in singapore", however, i kept on refreshing after that and at 11.20-11.25pm i managed to order the item again with pick up. No MSOS code was needed (malaysian maybank CC) unlike the courts (SG) where we need to fill in the MSOS code.

Anybody want a direct tips on ordering from apple store (SG) for pick up at orchard can PM me.
