I use tape to stick all those hole of my phone before i start to apply the tempered glass.
*
That seems to be a good idea.

QUOTE(TongCN @ Nov 1 2017, 05:46 PM)
I didn't use tape to seal those holes before i did the installation but i do aware of the issue

After first curing, take out the phone from the guide box and check any excessive glue outside
Using alcohol wipe can wipe those glue away easily (They give you 3 pack but do prepare own one just in case)

You can do second installation IF you haven't cure the glue using UV light (They give 2 glue)

But some ppl mention they lift up the Tempered glass and clean off those adhesive using oil and alcohol, after that they redo the process and like new one biggrin.gif

Thanks for the tips, but I still dont dare to do it myself for fear of ruining it. I really suck at workmanship stuff. sweat.gif

Does anyone use Spigen Ultra Hybrid case for their Note8?

May I know what SP did you guys use?

Bought the X-One Defender. But Bubbles appear at the curve screen once I installed the case.

I'm still stucked with what SP to buy next. Can someone help me up here?

Many thanks.

there is no such thing. sapphire glass is too brittle to use on a phone but very hard and almost scratchless, near to diamond in term of hardness. A glass is still a glass, even wat silicon oxide coating also will scratch one..

Great review there. Is it easy to wipe of the excess glue when it leaks out on the headphone hole and speakers etc?
Second, can you help do a second installation?    tongue.gif

Lol. I thought you are against using expensive tg especially when whitestone is almost rm200.

Whitestone Dome TG (this one i think you need to order from Amazon or Ebay & installed yourself) or HAO (shop located at Cheras around Leisure Mall area). This two so far got considerably very good review. Cant go wrong with any of this two.

Same smile.gif

Which is why I pay sakurazz to do it for me, even if it’s costlier than buying online. Plus get to chit chat with him during the installation, ha ha smile.gif

spigen design is easy to take out the spen, but then it is also less protection for the spen area

It is all about costs. I'm sure they can make a strong durable and scratchless glass, but it'll cost so expensive that phone manufacturers wouldnt want to buy it. This is especially true for consumer products.

Hi guys, would like to share my day 1 experience with the Zizo Bolt case as it just came in today after about 3 weeks of waiting. Very satisfied with the overall purchase (USD 44 inclusive of promo code, shipping, tracking & insurance). It came with extra accessories such as a holster that doubles as a front cover too, lanyard that can be attached to the case, and the best item - a tempered glass that actually works.

My daily armor has been the Spigen Air Liquid which is significantly slimmer and lighter hence this is quite a change. Actually planning to use Zizo mostly for traveling (rushing leads to high probability of dropping one's phone).

The Good
1. Value for money - came with many goodies!
2. TG was easy to install, fits well with the casing (TG doesn't end up being forced out - was impressed that it even fit with my Spigen Air Liquid), no significant dip in touch sensitivity (not even with the SPEN).
3. Extremely solid build with easy access to the fingerprint scanner (even better than Spigen's cutout).
4. Color range is impressive.
5. Wireless charging works despite the added thickness of the case!
6. Good grip, and satisfactory protection thus far (phone faced down, the screen does not come into contact with the table because of higher corners of the case).
7. An inconspicuous stand which allows landscape viewing.

The Bad
1. Side buttons are not very responsive, you gotta press slightly harder than usual but I'm hoping this will ease in a couple of days.
2. Due to thickness/cutout of case, accessing the SPEN can affect the experience for some users with maybe uhh chubby fingers.
3. Phone can be slightly difficult to remove due to how secure the casing is.
4. Definitely bad match for tight pants/your slim cuts/skinny jeans.

If it really works, then why not? Just as long we are not paying for some overpriced products that dont even live up to its reputation. Seems like whitestone is the only recommended working SP for the note 8 at the moment.
