Honestly I dislike that the coating is peeling we didnt pay almost RM 4k for this, but I am not altogether surprised. If you paint any glossy paint on metal, or anything, it is bound to happen, it is just a character of glossy paint.

I would hate for it peel bigger, but I am fine with it. If it ia really thay bad for you, I suggest you document it, take pictures, the more it gets bigger, the more you have a case to say it is a defect. If not, just live with it

It is all about costs. I'm sure they can make a strong durable and scratchless glass, but it'll cost so expensive that phone manufacturers wouldnt want to buy it. This is especially true for consumer products.

As far as comparing screens, you should compare with another Note 8. Your Xiaomi phone can be calibrated more blueish so thats why you see the Note 8 as mroe yellow when maybe it is normal

LOL. FB is a problem for ALL phones, even ios. It is too unoptimised. So you have an option to clear the cache, use it

Lol you are talking about 2 different things.

1) As I said, it is an FB app problem. Even for IOS. No matter what machine you are using, no matter what the OS is, if an app or any software is not optimised properly, it will disrupt your machine, even if your smartphone has GTX 1080 TI in it lol. You want to be angry? Go rate the official FB app 1 star on the Google Play Store.

2) Secondly, battery dropping 5% overnight is soooooooooooooooooooooo subjective. It could be affected by so many things. There are people in previous posts, that says their Note 8 standby barely drop 1%. Some say 20%. What does this mean? It means it is SUBJECTIVE to your use. You could have bad phone network in your area, you could have background apps running, so many factors, that eventually leads to you.

Saying you pay so much money for "crap" when the things you mention is not a Note 8 problem is..difficult to understand, to say the least.

Anyone else missing Write on PDF after the update? This is so weird

I feel like I've given up on tempered glasses. The only good on is the Whitestone Dome, but you crack that once you say bye bye to RM 200.

The others it is either not touch sensitive, or too thin that makes it easily cracked, etc. The list goes on. It sucks

It is definitely not light leak. I had the same thought a few months back and was so bothered by it. But it is definitely not light leak and is simply the light of the screen reflecting due to the curve.

I've tested so many times. What convinced me that it is not light leak is because the light pattern follows what is on the screen. Light leak wouldnt be that accurate unless you actually have a whole gap in your phone that allows you to see part of the display under the glass.

So many people reported the same. In fact a simple google search would reveal it. We are all Note 8 users, why would we protect samsung? If samsung gave defective products of course we would want it fixed

I am not in anyway trying to put salt on your wounds, but this is exactly why I dont buy TP above RM 100, because it might be great but once cracked it is still a cracked TP 😥

I'd rather buy cheap ones ao that if it breaks it is easily replaceable.

True. Especially previously there were some suspected Hao promoters badmouthing other brands. Now dont see them anymore because most here knows of the quality lol
