Using Whitestone Dome.

My experience so far:
The glass :
- Feel so good and slippery when swiping with your finger and S Pen
- It doesn't fully cover the edge of the screen like 2mm there

The installation :
- You will need to be aware that they mention to have additional glue being included so be prepared that it will leak out
  when you put down the glass (Seal off some part like headphone hole and speakers)
- Mine lucky as it leaked on the right side below power button there.

The CON :
- For me, due to the glue between the TG and original screen, you might find that dust particar will start collecting around the edges which noticable during under the sunlight or if u r peaky.
- So some cleaning work might need to perform every week for me since i'm a perfectioninst

Overall, I like this TG and still waiting my Spigen Ultra Hybrid S to come
Now using the clear case included inside the package.

I use tape to stick all those hole of my phone before i start to apply the tempered glass.

I didn't use tape to seal those holes before i did the installation but i do aware of the issue

After first curing, take out the phone from the guide box and check any excessive glue outside
Using alcohol wipe can wipe those glue away easily (They give you 3 pack but do prepare own one just in case)

You can do second installation IF you haven't cure the glue using UV light (They give 2 glue)

But some ppl mention they lift up the Tempered glass and clean off those adhesive using oil and alcohol, after that they redo the process and like new one

Lol. I thought you are against using expensive tg especially when whitestone is almost rm200.

i read that mcafee is considered a bloatware installed in the N8

try getting x-one stealth armor. it covers the whole screen until side & the back too. i've been using this sp since day 1 until today with no issue. so far all 3 cases that i bought (spigen rugger armor, samsung alcantara & samsung protective standing cover) has no problem with this sp too

yup its a screen protector but not like those normal plastic screen protector, x-one sp quality is good & it protects your phone against impact too. been using this brand for my iphone 7 plus too since last year
no lifting at all so far. been using this sp for a month since i first got my note 8 on 10/10/2017

I have to say, the screen protector is impressive, I did observe my usage and the display is crystal clear. Installation-wise it's pretty simple and straightforward. Didn't have any challenge putting it on. In fact after switching over to the Grey tip, I felt like it is a natural or stock screen. In terms of responsiveness, the screen is surprisingly responsive with either the s pen or normal touch the screen is just smooth. No rough or sticky areas. It is able to cover up the entire screen including the sides. There is a few mm gap on the edges however it doesn't show as a hindrance when using the edges of the phone. I have tried 3 cases which are the neo hybrid, rugged armor and stock Samsung clear case and the last one is the most compatible of all.

Sadly had it not been due to the edges of the screen protector lifting when using the neo hybrid and rugged armor, it would have been my screen protector of choice.

Yes in the curved edges. So today she started using the rm2 soft case and have yet to know if everything is ok.

Just bought a Samsung Evo class 10 32gb SD card.

Have a few quick questions.

1) will inserting the SD card into my note 8 cause battery drain?
2) will inserting the SD card into my note 8 cause lag?
I had read it in some other forum where user complain it lag or slow down the phone or drain the battery drastically when using an SD card on a new android oreo phone ( Samsung s8+)

*note : there are no apps inside the SD card  just music, pictures  and video.

I used lighter and clipper, I used only double side tape to stick both together so still can be removed next time
yeah burning the plastic part is the most challenging part
