Finally I opened the UOB e-Account.
The branch staff forced me to take the Debit-ATM card. Is this compulsory? |

QUOTE(The Chauvinist @ Jan 31 2019, 07:04 PM) IBG = 50k 3rd Party (UOB to UOB) = 50k Does it meant I can transfer 50k x 2 like Maybank or just 50k x1 per day? Quite important because it means we dont need to waste time to go bank, can transfer money out fast for FD promos to another bank. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Feb 8 2019, 06:50 PM) https://www1.uob.com.my/personal/useful/fee...t-transfer.page Hi, thanks for the info above. http://uniservices1.uob.com.my/personal/eb...tion_limit.html However, its still doesnt stated clearly whether its RM50,000x 2 or RM50,000 x 1. As in if I exhaust RM50,000 limit on 3rd party already within the day, do I still get to send another RM50,000 to another bank. With the exception of Maybank that allows RM50,000 x 2, I know most banks are RM50,000 x 1. Guess I have to find out through the hard way! |

QUOTE(terrysoh @ Feb 8 2019, 08:17 PM) Hi, thanks for the info above. It is separate limit for IBG, IBFT & 3rd party transfer. QUOTE(Nom-el @ Feb 11 2019, 12:20 PM) It is separate limit for IBG, IBFT & 3rd party transfer. So, total you can transfer per day is 130k. It works! I tried sending 50k GIRO, then 30k Instant and it works! The big transfer limit + high interest are A+! I think its currently the best rate & hassle-free savings accounts in Malaysia. |

Update on UOB-E Account:
If you have 500k to join Priority Banking, they can upgrade the interest to 3.8% instead of 3.5%. The E-Account and tier works exactly the same, except that the 3.8% replaces the 3.5% whenever your balance is 50k and above. |
