QUOTE(okuribito @ Nov 1 2017, 05:45 PM) I couldn't go but a friend went PJ state branch. Walaueh, he say now the syt mktg staff there work in cubicle like karaoke laounge with intimate sofa I can confirm on this (the interest calculation part). What do you mean by 1mth deposit? You are referring to FD? UOB's FD rate for 1 month is very low at 2.7% p.a. Even 1 year also 3% only. Confirmed 3.6% on entire balance. Also interest calculate on daily balance but credit end of mth - though this not in black & white. IMHO if got >50,000 idle for <3 mths, then worth it. Otherwise, better put into 1mth deposit QUOTE(perplexedstill @ Nov 2 2017, 02:46 AM) Why yours different with mine? I go today and they tell me, to get the 3.6%, Are you referring to the UOB eAccount here? If yes, the info you got is wrong. No need to buy any investment at all. Either the staff is ignorant or lying to you to get you to buy their investment product.1. > RM50k 2. Minimum RM20k need to buy their "investment" aka Unit Trust and etc. Still got others but i terus run after hear about the "investment". Waste my time drive so long to there. No wonder no dare to write full terms and conditions on their website la. |

QUOTE(David_Yang @ Jan 25 2018, 07:50 PM) yes, ocbc 260 IF you can meet at least two of the three criterias, perfect, if you meet all three. It should be very simple to meet the two requirements. I hope in Jan i first time can make it, even took their debitcard to make it First is to transfer RM500 to the account every month. Second is to make 3 outgoing transfer by IBG to any account every month. I've confirmed with OCBC that any outgoing IBG is acceptable and I've done it every month. |

Yes, I did not know this and thought it must be real bill payings. And so sorry, only have TNB and Indah water bill This month I paid TNB and made a couple of IBG, hope the February statement will bring happiness. |

I think the most hassle-free is UOB eAccount right?
Just put slightly more than RM50k and watch it grows |

For UOB eAccount, please note that rates have been adjusted this year.
>20k = 3.00% >50k = 3.50% |

I was told that RM10k FD placement was one of the requirements to open eAccount. As I always do my research before signing up for anything, I had saved their website and downloaded the T&C and PDS prior. I asked for the manager, showed her everything, and she gladly instructed the officer to open my account. |

Alliance Bank Save Plus Islamic
>100k - 3.55% That's basically it, the lower tiers are not worth mentioning. If you have 100k that needs to be liquid or Alliance location is more convenient for you, this is an alternative to UOB eAccount. |
