0102 is fixable so still got hope with the xclamp fix

Btw i am still working on grandhiz's console which got 3rod and error 0020 and it seems like with the x-clamps remove the error still persists.. will try to use a defibrillator to give it a "shocking" revive soon.

mine was 0020 before this. bro metalgrindsolid revived it using hot gun... then only xclamp fix.

Mine error code is 0110, is it the same as 0102 ??

I think is time to try X clamp replacement method.

I have fixed just ONCE error 0110 with the x-clamps replacement method and it work out fine... i will have to confirm with the owner of the console later again for any symptoms of 3ROL, just to be sure.

I had tried some of the methods which can be found online, except the toothpick, eraser & X clamp.

I found that when I tried the towel method, my 360 can work but will hang afterward, then 3 rod again. (2 times already)

Its best not to use the towel method because there is a big chance that you will expand your clamps faster and thus more swelling on the soldering below the chip. So far, the towel fix is just a temporal solution... there hasnt been any of it who survived long enough after the towel fix....

It's one way to confirm that your machine's fixable via xclamp replacement.

If you can make it work for a while, that means it's just the flexing doing its thing. If you were to replace the xclamp, your xbox should be fine.

ok roger..sorry for the late update..was outstation yesterday... wow, so many 3 rod...really really good for this thread..ekekekkeke

360 is alive, but the DISK DRIVE is busted.

Meaning i cant play any video games.

I can play demos and have the normal dashboard, as soon as i start the game 10 mins later i'll crash.

can anyone fix this?

This is probably the hardest-to-fix console for me. It didnt respond well after the x-clamps got replaced and still persists to show me the 3rol. I did the whole operation another time, cleaning the heatsink & the GPU/CPU chips again. Putting fresh thermal paste again, and the 3rol still lights up.

After a few tries, i finally got it worked up and is undergoing some heavy stress test at the moment.
