Foxconn are the Major of all motherboards man~.
but what makes me intrested that MS actually "don't know" these problem? Such a Big Company (actually there are the Biggest in the world liaw) but don't know this problem ?  |

These are the advantages of BGA...and I think it suits the purpose in the Xbox.

I mean it takes quite a while for the xclamp to give in.. |

Its not surprising that it might die after the service...because essentially, the main problem is broken contacts. If there are too many broken contacts, then you may have to do reheating...failing which, a more drastic repair is required -- reballing.
Reballing is either very very expensive...or very very tedious... Added on May 21, 2007, 9:40 pmOh...and I forgot to mention. I put my box thru some games. Works fine for the moment. We'll see how it goes further down the line. QUOTE(sauying @ May 21 2007, 09:20 PM) does virgil provide 100% fix ?? because it fixed by someone b4, There wont be a 100% fix as long as the 3RoL is still an unknown error like the 0020 and 1020 errors or even the E74 1RoL, you cant really say that it is the fault of the video cable in the case of E74 as i did the operation and it works like a charm.. not forgetting the 0110 error too... it's works like charm after service, but now hang liao ... 0020 (Not yet known, possibly overheating) 0102 unknown error E74 AV cable error... 0110 Memory Error / Memory Overheating But then if your console hasnt undergo the x-clamps removal, then i strongly suggest you opt for it. Tough luck but then i have high hopes that it can be fixed. |

thanks a lot, but i already resent to the shop, they'll provide me "long-waited" service which takes very very long time to fix.But no charge at all !!

where u buy from...if u buy in those sgwang there better do x-clamps...if not who knows u send them back many times still same .....but hopefully not..btw i remember last time u in my friendlist..then out of sudden u not when u 1st time kena 3rod...no one friend me ah..
