You mean the one with the Samsung drive? Luckily, mine is using a Hitachi-LG drive. My previous XBOX 360 was using a Samsung drive and when playing some games like Burnout Revenge, NFS Carbon and Test Drive Unlimited, it hangs without a reason. I had no problems with my current one right now. As for scratches, yes, but very light scratches.

And it was on for 4hrs, no problems.

Mr Alby...i got the same problem..
but i checked mine...no disc is scratch during the DVD drive e-braking sound...
Djinn said its because of the DVD ROM is old and rusty d...nothing much

Waah E-Break somemore...heheh....mine was E-Break sound but no scratches...Weird..somemore the console sound was like tarak power like that...

My box also experienced the same thing, after spring update then 3ROD and the graphics ripping up.
Don't know if it was the update. sweat.gif
I messed around with the resolution and reduced it and it ran fine for few days.
But after not touching it for the past 5 days, it now only shows 3ROD on booting. sad.gif
Checked the code and it was 0102.


I have an ori set.


At least your set is alright now.

yesterday was playing oblivion when all the sudden my xbox360 hang and my controller led start spinning around then i close it down reboot and cannot get the disc out through eject!go into dashboard but the disc tray read "open" while there is a disc still stuck inside!

close down few mins then try to boot up the eject is working but after a few while i was rebooted o.O then disc stuck inside tray cannot read again!!

Can this be fix?=(

Hi, what i did was reformatted the HDD and re run the update ...and everything goes well...hmmm wonder how long it will stay alive...im worry everytime i turn on my console now...waiting for the green light to appear on the ring, if red light then no mood alr hahaha... mayb u could just try? Hmmm is this really something has to do with the Update? damn update that caused 3ROD >_<, no one knows when mine is going down again sigh icon_question.gif

don't think so.
coz if hdd problem i don't think u'll be able to bootup.
