Once registered to your name, no way of rejecting unless very blatant fault (wrong colour/wrong trim line/rusting/obvious dents, etc)

Can only insist on rectification work.

The only time can outrightly reject is when the allotted car to you arrived at the SC and the sales adviser is kind enough to inform you to come for inspection before proceeding to registration at JPJ.
*
Can. They will rectify for u before they handover to u again, of course it will be the same car same chasis same registry. Just tat if u accept the car, the salesman will ask u to complain and repair at SC. Then u shall wait x 10000 and be patient for the waits.
If u dont accept the car at the 1st place, the salesman will die die repair it for u ao he can close ur account n not get his ass kicked by the sales manager.

Picked up my card on 5th Dec (1.5TC Luna Silver Metallic).

Effortless car to drive, made the right decision to buy Turbo version instead of NA.

Now it's on 500km already. Gotta book for 1000km service interval today tho.

Quick question, any of you guys here ever made an actual comparison between ECON & Normal drive mode in terms of fuel efficiency?

Currently I use ECON mode while driving to work (it is cold outside as I normally go out 615am). Turn the ECON off usually when I want to have some acceleration on the highway.

My personal experiece
Normal mode and eco mode no diff in my FC. I tried few tanks already. So i quit using eco mode after since

For me I feel without Econ mode you can speed up to 120 easily and with Econ mode, you need some effort. Basically if you drive around town(jam, traffic light etc), go for Econ.

What i want to emphasize is that, if the car is registered in JPJ, it is pretty much considered a done deal. The rectification works may not end up to your satisfaction, but it is already your car and you have to accept it.

The only recourse on your side is the loan, as the loaned amount will only be fully disbursed to the dealer after you sign receive. But still, you can't hold on to this leash for long.

Can only conclude that either honda is really screwing up the final quality touches and just sign off the cars out of the plant as long as can drive or that we as consumers are expecting much more than before.

Yea, anyhow u hav to accept the car. Just that by rejecting the car at the 1st place is to make the salesman immediately fix the car so he can deliver it to you. Else he is in troubles too, which he dont wish to.

Yes agree, the the final paint touches r really low quality, i can see honeycombs and some of the members even hav peel-off paints

My TCP is doing 6k km atm, with serviced A during 5k km using it for about 4months soon. 100% city drive and mostly on RON95. Daily travel around 20km thru and back from work.

i have been not using ECON mode for 3 weeks and 2 full tank of petrol. My recorded was 11.5km/l compared ECON mode on which is roughly 10.7km/l

My observation is on ECON the car is pretty much underpowered in normal city move and stop driving. Hence sometimes over-step for need of more power consumes more petrol.

After 1 service my FC is getting better. Before Service A with econ sometimes can be as low as 9.5km/l

Let me know if my stats are really low which i think its low. should be at least 12km/l imo.

Really low bro. I wonder if you encounter quite a bit of traffic? I don't feel econ is underpowered in normal stop & go traffic, but my driving conditions / habit might defer from yours.

I am averaging around 12-13km/l on city traffic. Lowest ever is 10km/l as per my siggy.

Oh, i turn on ECON 99% of the time.

Bro do try off the ECON mode. I felt its better. The car is more responsive and hence u can lift foot off and let it roll during jam and go situation.

I asked SC about my FC and they say its normal and diagnosis didn't alert any engine fault.

My daily travel traffic is so so. But not straights, need turn left and right and cut thru housing areas. What's ur petrol? current mileage and oil choice?

I do turn if off from time to time, especially if I want to overtake traffic at old trunk roads, but don't really like coz it's a bit twitchy compared to ECON in normal driving. Slight pressure on the accelerator will jerk the car forward - more power yes, but not ideal for daily driving for me. I prefer a more sedentary drive smile.gif

Anyway, using Shell RON97, sometimes V-Power Racing. Current mileage around 23,000KM - Honda 0W-20 as recommended by Honda booklet for fuel saving.

My daily drive is only 12km from home to office to home. Just some traffic when going back from work (around 5 minutes of traffic), but going to work takes about 6 minutes, going back home takes about 10 minutes.

Using same oil as well. But mine always on RON95. Prolly that will make a little difference. But it seems every refuel the FC is getting better. Before that is around 10.5 to 10.7km/l on average.
