Hmm, firstly it depends on what car u're looking for. C-Segment or B-Segment?
Also, it depends on ur budget cz a civic will an extra 20k at least (and still this is excludng the interests if u loan them)
Mainly i think the way if feels how it drives, they are way too different. City is nice to drive around cz i feel its size being convinient, while civic u'll look good in it  cool2.gif

i don't normally ferry ppl so having really big interior is not really a biggie to me.

But Civic does look sportier outside but if the basic unit, looks abit meh unless I take up the 1.5 but that's another 15 - 20k.

It would feel like non-stop topping up.

But I think the Civic will consume petrol more than the 1.5 City due to the bigger engine ?

You going for City High Spec?

Besides the turbo engine, led headlights, paddle shifter and leather seats for TCP, basically the base spec Civic has everything.

90k for a B segment car it’s kind of expensive.

What's the diff between the City engine and Civic TCP ?

The City it’s a normal 1.5NA engine. The HP and torque is much lower compare to the Civic 1.5 turbo.

The Civic turbo engine is equivalent to a 2.4 NA engine.

For better explanation maybe you wait others to explain I’m not really into car. Just know a bit only.

but I'm comparing 1.5 City V and 1.8 Civic now, not the turbo

Are the led lights, leather seats, paddle shift and bigger rims necessary?

The above is the mid/top spec Civic.

Base spec Civic won't have the above.

Yep looking at the trade off which is about 15k from 1.8 to the 1.5T

You are financial consultant right? Spend within your budget....

Unfortunately car is more of an emotional buy, if I were to go drill down to the figure. I might end up with just Axia 1.0 to save maximum petrol and inflation cost etc etc
