I thought he was just asking if anyone is using Type R tongue.gif
Yes... It's a bit hard for the elderly to enter & exit the car, especially at the rear passenger seats. Front passenger, still ok even if a bit low.
*
Actually, I don't agree this is due to seat height at all. I have different conclusion.

My observation is the modern cars have very wide and tall car sill to make the body stronger. We are almost sitting inside a bowl. biggrin.gif
The problem is really, it is hard for them (or any non-fit/obese people) to lift their feet and move over the door sill.

The seat heigh relative to the ground is pretty reasonable. Civic hip point is 19", while most dining chair is around 18" - 19". Anyone complains the dining chair?

P/S: I hate people who simply step on my door sill to get in/out of the car. vmad.gif So inconsiderate. My families and co-workers are iterated/educated and will not do this, but sometimes heart attack after taking an acquaintance.

Define "under power"?

After 1 month of ownership, I've not encounter any major problem. *touch wood*.

Fuel consumption 13.1km / litre almost 2k km on ODO - 100% city drive.

Go ahead. The power for civic 1.8 is decent and more than enough.
If u need more power can swipe gear to S mode.
With S mode can easily go to 160km/hr.

130 is nothing. Must be your tire pressure.
Always cruising around  140-150 in highway
*
Tire pressure is not it. It is the aero of the car.

Some people can drive their Myvi 140km/h. I am not that kind of person. So, for me, the Civic is safe till 130km/h.

I plan to upgrade my tyres soon.

With Malaysia's poor road conditions, please avoid.

Ride quality in the Civic is good, with all these unnecessary bars, you are going to ruin the ride quality at the expense of a bit better handling.

Also, long term, the car will suffer too (mounting points of these bars are not meant to take long term forces)

But, to each its own.

If you want better handling, upgrade tyres first. get PS4 or GY A3.

Alcantara wrap to test water, adding slight touch for luxury or ugliness(subjective). Was told that the material is same as mercedes alcantara.

Like I said, I don't get the floating feeling when driving up to 150kmh. I belive the ride is more planted if I change the tire to Michelin ps4

I thought GY A3 no size for civic 17" rim. However GY F1 GSD has.

Manage to claim warranty to repaint. I suggest you all go check whether the paint at this plastic part still intact or peeled off because I realise their test drive car have the same condition as mine.
