I will go for the one got hdmi2.1 input plus 120hz refresh rate, cuz more on console gaming and movies 😃🖤

Can consider Bravia 8 mark II. From what I read, it will supposedly handshake PS5 HDR settings better with the TV (Normally we need to calibrate the MaxTML, MinTML by the clicking in PS5 HDR settings).

Hey guys any recommended good budget-ish 65in tv, mix of movies and gaming (PS5). I've been using my ps5 on my 32in monitor for years now as it's my work desk. Been changing things around so I have a lounge area now.

Plan is to have some sort of connection where the PS5 Pro can switch between work desktop display and a tv at the lounge area, budget maybe around 4-6k ? (don't mind those China brands also and I know that's a low budget, but i'm not really going for ultimate viewing exprience also.. i'll be mostly on my workdesk when playing games usually )

Dun need super high frame rate also 100hz also ok haha , HDR would be nice

i am still living with my 55-inch sony a80j. but also happy with it.. since the apartment unit i stay, the distance between sofa and tv is about 2.5m (from the position i sit and the position of eyes to tv), certainly 65-inch will be ideal but it is much more expensive. cool2.gif

You do need high frame rate at least 120hz for the ps5, even not all games but at least go for something that can be useful in the future

X90L probably would be a better choice due to XR. X85L is still using X1 processor which seems like forever.

But you already have quite a decent budget for the new TV and a PS5 "Pro". Why not pair it with an OLED?

Ah ok ah well.. i had my budget at 5k anyway. XD (and the X85L was 4.8k at Harvey Norman) so bought that over the weekend. I'm really not that much of an enthusiast. jsut wanted to get a tv for gaming from the bed sometimes as well as for my kids to watch for movie night smile.gif

(I've been gaming for years on my benq 32in .. so even this would be an upgrade hehe)

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, is there any device that will allow me to do this?

I want to plug my PS5 to it, and i can toggle it to switch display between my TV and my desktop monitor?

Hello fellow home TV pros, I've come asking for recommendations for a TV as my old TV broke (Xiaomi Q1) sad.gif

Size: 75"
Budget: around RM5000 - RM6000
Usage: Netflix, Youtube, Music (connects to my DAC/external speakers)

Some questions:
1. I currently use an optical cable to my DAC. Not sure how much difference the TV model/type makes, but I assume it does like a car's head unit. Please do educate me on this!
2. Is the improvement to 120hz with TV (netflix/YT) as obvious as the one we experience with PC games?

My current thoughts:
- Sharp FJ1X seems to be a decent choice coming from reputable manufacturer? Price seems ok too (shopee link)
- Sony Bravia 2 ii (sony page) seems nice although unreleased, should I wait for it? (Guessing it's around RM6k after seeing Bravia 3 price)

Thanks in advance for your time!

For LG, the only QNED worth looking is the QNED92 (QNED93 in other countries). All other QNED/mini-led from LG cannot compete with other TVs.

They make good OLED tvs, just not LED tvs.

lg 65qned86asa use ips panel.
The contrast may not be good if compare with va panel.
