How to tell in demo is ips or va ah?
*
The viewing angle will tell it is VA, if you watch at a certain angle, the picture will look washed out. And if watched dead on straight, the black (miniLED VA with dimming zones) is closer to an oled.

fellow peeps who should be more informed about TV tech then me, i got a q:

i want to change my existing 65" oled tv since it doesn't have have earc to support dolby (real waste as i just got a arc ultra, 2x era300, 2x sub4).

Would it be wise for me to go for a qned tv? specifically this - "LG 75-inch QNED92 QNED evo". Would the image quality drop noticeable enough for me to actually regret moving from OLED or QNED?

My budget allows me to go for a 65" oled, but it seems rather stupid to me as i'm practically paying 10k just to get earc port.

Going for 75" oled did not pass the ministry of home finance after just recently having those sonos shipped in...

You just got the Sonos?
ARC should have no problem to passthrough lossy (compressed) Dolby Atmos.
You will only need need eARC for lossless (uncompressed) Atmos for remux/BlueRay.

Hi guys, looking at recommendations for 75-85inch tv to place in living hall

current tv is 55" Sony A80L which will be moved to bedroom.
am super satisfied with the A80L but looking abit small and not willing to forkout 14+k for the 77" version. got the 55" at a steal at 5.8k

Currently looking at X90L 75" (<7k), bravia 3 85" (around 7k) and bravia 5 (8k+)
any other recommendations/other brands to look out for? at the moment abit bias to sony for the motion processing and google tv support (am using streaming apks)

dont mind not having oled in the living hall as day time gets super bright, am more looking for size increase, viewing distance about 9+ ft

I went for X90L 75in, bought last week at harvey norman with final price of rm7497 after instant rm500 rebate. And this purchase entitled for sony xm5 headphone for free as well.
Happy with my choice. I put my LG 55in to my bedroom as it still worked well even after 12yrs

I would suggest you go for X90L 75" as that's the last model of the X90 series and before the new Bravia branding. Although it's only with Full Array LED, but you can already get a better-than-average quality with good color accuracy.

I am also debating between X90L 75" or Bravia 7 65", and more lean towards the B7 but still waiting for the best offer.

If you want something with mini LED in your budget, you can actually consider TCL C7K model. They using their own panel so has the price advantage, and also their performance and specs are better than Bravia 5 in general.

In general,
Bravia 7 > TCL C7K > X90L > Bravia 5

My parents bought one for my OKU sister to watch because my sis (who worked in LG) kept promoting to my mom... 7K retail minus 2.8k tng IIRC.

Still prefer QN95B over this LG TV.

The homescreen... what a nightmare. Too many things to be honest. Can be simpler and cleaner. More like a desktop PC with many apps shortcuts.
