Hey guys I'm interested to get the Panasonic GX740 since it's around my budget of 4k. The thing is my home will only be ready in September. Do you think I should get it now, or wait until there is potentially some merdeka sales?

Not that many stores stock this and many told me they won't be bringing in this model anymore so I'm deciding if I should just get it first.

Brought my 2nd set Sony 65" LED TV early this month. Value buy Sony KD65x8000H for Rm4.55k  with 2+3 years warranty, free delivery & installation.

My 1st set Sony KD65x7500D bought 4 years ago for RM5998 with 2+3 years warranty.

I bought from Sony online store. And I check the running time of the tv to confirm that it is really brand new.

My relative bought a new Toshiba laptop from Harvey Norman,
many problem, in the end found out that the laptop had repair
history by Toshiba service centre. so I wouldn't say it is risk
free on those shop.

Sony tv can check. check the thread for Sony tv one will know. There is a combination of keys to press to check.

For other brands then I dun know.

Samsung also can check but have to use those old model remote... newer remote wont work

2. Hisense A6100H (cheaper, But vidaa)
3. Hisense A6500H (google tv) but slightly more expensive
4. Samsung AU7000 (tizen though)
5. Xiaomi EA (cheap but seems older model?)
6. Philips PUT7906
7. Toshiba 65C350LP (google tv , but over RM2k)

Or wondering should I go Xiaomi 58 A2 instead

I read Hisense A6h is good cheap TV but dunno which model is it in malaysia.. (so confusing)

Im targeting at 65" sony x85L tv. Seems very good already.

yeah.. and it fits the budget too.. seems can get better bargain on sales..
for others, they dont seems integrating with android/google tv.

which one is the best choice? (all around 3k~ except for the panasonic)

Hisense is very sus with their regional spec game.
Panasonic has very little detailed info and literally zero reviews out there.
