it's my living hall, it's not very big estimate around 16ft x 12ft and i'm sitting 10ft from the screen. speakers are 8ft apart.

A good entry level system. but I would like you to do some arrangement for the speakers placement.

I suggest ur centre speaker to put on top of the cabinet in the middle of the LCD tv and try to place the pair of surround speakers to the back of ur seating position. I am sure that way u will hear bigger 3D improvement in the sound field without digging further your pocket.....cheers.........

actually my cabinet is about 1.5m high.. from my couch, i have held my head up to watch the lcd tv screen.. rite now the centre speaker is directly pointing to me when i seat at the couch. but, i'll arrange the centre speaker as u suggested.. see how the outcome.. 

yeah.. about the surround speaker i cannot put at the back of the seat coz i still waiting the 'free speaker stand' from the shop i bought.. they are currently out of stocks..

However currently i'm test-making my stereo hifi sound like surround. (sitting in the center, but the sound comes from everywhere)
My items will be mixed-match to test-trial regularly

Or get yourself a higher couch ?

this Usher s-520 can use for front channel as well.good performance,veri bright/forward but need careful speaker cbl to match other wise SQ will be too bright.can partner well with tube amp(el34,kt88 or 300b)

Yeah, i'm running it with QED Silverscreen XT / Transparent speaker cables
I'm really eager for an integrated tube amp, only tat funds not enuf, so gotta wait and wait and wait ....

Finally... This is my budget home theatre sets.. i've been poisoned by u guys.. but this is what i only can afford.. eventhough it is small and simple, i really satisfied with the sound and viusal..  i really satisfied..
Before : 14' unbranded second hand colour tv, china made dvd player and mini hifi sets (play vcd only)

Now : Toshiba Regza 32' TSB-32AV500E HD1080p (RM 1799), Sony HTIB SNY-DAVDZ270K HDMI (RM999) and a 3m HDMI Cable (RM70).

Just to check where did you got the Toshiba Regza 32' TSB-32AV500E with price RM 1799.00? Is that condition new? able to upscaling to 1080P? My dvd
player is Pioneer DV-610AV-S, cause existing LCD just only HD ready.
