Someone enlighten me plz , im a little confused here on this math,
so i was paying rm179+gst=189 for 30mbps&hypp tv,months later got the free upgrade to 50mbps then few days ago got offered upgrade to 100mbps for rm199+gst=rm210 I see most talking about the rm10 upgrade so if i was on rm179 then it should be rm189 for 100mbps right? after gst should be rm199. How come im paying rm20 for the upgrade to 100mbps? is it because they included ruby pack? it's not free is it and cost another rm10? if so can request to exclude to save another rm10? my hypp modem has been collecting dust since day 1, we dont even use it lol |

QUOTE(OwlsHeart @ Mar 14 2018, 12:52 AM) Someone enlighten me plz , im a little confused here on this math, Interesting. Most of us are paying RM 189 (excludes GST) and comes with 100Mbps, VAR (Varnam, Aneka or Ruby) pack, Jumbo pack and free calls.so i was paying rm179+gst=189 for 30mbps&hypp tv,months later got the free upgrade to 50mbps then few days ago got offered upgrade to 100mbps for rm199+gst=rm210 I see most talking about the rm10 upgrade so if i was on rm179 then it should be rm189 for 100mbps right? after gst should be rm199. QUOTE(OwlsHeart @ Mar 14 2018, 12:52 AM) Someone enlighten me plz , im a little confused here on this math, Typically, when you get called with an offer, it's not often the best one. If you didn't accept the offer and still on the 179 for 50Mbps package. Either call TM or better still, walk to a branch and request for the +RM10 for bump to 100Mbps.. This has been discussed many times over..so i was paying rm179+gst=189 for 30mbps&hypp tv,months later got the free upgrade to 50mbps then few days ago got offered upgrade to 100mbps for rm199+gst=rm210 I see most talking about the rm10 upgrade so if i was on rm179 then it should be rm189 for 100mbps right? after gst should be rm199. So at that time existing user pay rm179 monthly ( some only pay rm169 and some even luckier pay rm159) for 30mbps (same as u pay now) and get the free upgrade to 50mbps with the same price... [price before gst] and then, at the end of 2017 got another round of campaign rye 2017 (retention year end some say so to answer ur question, 1. imo, the best is to try to get the rm139 for 30mbps speed. Later on if got year end offer u can upgrade with monthly price cheaper than most of us here 2. unifi tv or known as hypp tv previously cant be exclude with the unifi broadband. Its in the contract i think. 3. Another thing to try is to exclude the call plan. I will try this when my contract finish , can save rm20 monthly. im currently on rm159 (before GST) for 30mbps + free call + Jumbo (Manchester thingy)
then recently i was informed by one of the authorise dealer that the existing plan i have is better as the current promo plan will expire after 2 years and price will revert back to normal (which is higher than my RM159). so i din change my unifi plan yet. But then i thought the internet price shd go lower in future instead of increase right. i can also terminate plan once it reach 2 years and reapply new plan at that time. any sifu can help to clarify? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 14 2018, 09:32 AM) It's part of RYE package and cannot be removed. Regardless, it never charges us RM 20 and discount RM 20 later, it doesn't appear on the bill at all. I think enduser plan is diff and STD20 is in the dashboard since he/she indicated that it can be removed. This post has been edited by MGM: Mar 14 2018, 10:01 AM |

Go to TMPoint and request to change to this RM139 package, probably may need to tie in contract for next 24 months.tq to all the sifus Yet... it's still good deal for RM139 vs RM199. ^^ QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 14 2018, 09:32 AM) It's part of RYE package and cannot be removed. TM told me If our bill doesn't mention about Standard Voice RM20, will be no RM20 rebate even we request to remove/terminate it, so better just let the standard voice call remain there. |

QUOTE(OwlsHeart @ Mar 14 2018, 10:14 AM) Thanks for your all input. Not familiar with unifi pattern It’s alright fam. But don't wait till you are out of contract.. That's more months of overpaying. Many here (myself included) are within contracts and still managed to negotiate a better deal. You are seeking to upgrade, no penalty as you won't be terminated.. They'll just adjust your monthly fees and switch your plan. And if lucky, all can be done without the contract restarted. Yes, means you'll still have just one year left vs starting a new 2 years contract. |
