detected Max 3 WIFI signal around my house area included my own..consider many or few ?
*
Consider few but there must be some interference somewhere that make you unable to receive the full speed of 2.4GHz. If you want 2.4GHz to get full speed, try to set it to 40MHz and see if that helps.

Hi bro, would like to clarify on the unstable wifi issue before i make my final decision to exchange it for c5v2 router, as to me is unstable is the extremely high ping sometimes when downloading or even just watching youtube (may reach 3000+, will recover by itself but takes some time, sometimes need to keep refresh), normal period, just a slight jump for the ping (download can reach 3-3.6Mbytes/s and able to watch youtube at 1080p at the same time), Im using Unifi 30Mbps. Was wondering unstable wifi issue means this to you bro?

Just change to C5 V2, or flash your C1200 firmware to EU version. That is it.

my archer c5 never give me any problem since I susbcribed to unifi 30Mbps in dec 2017 until, upgraded to 50Mbps in August 2017 and now i am unifi 100Mbps.

never experience high ping and I am able to get full speed all the time.

Firmware Version:
3.17.1 Build 20160317 Rel. 4317
Hardware Version:
ArcherC5 v2

besides, that's purely my personal experience. not sure if you will experience the same. tongue.gif

100Mbps think you need at least ASUS 68U or Tplink AC3150 to see the difference smile.gif

Thanks bro, I usually set it to google dns servers on my dekstop and laptop itself, any difference? Mine is 30Mbps Unifi, so max download speed at 3+MB/s.

I was suppose to get RM200 discount but like you, it only showed RM150 after installation. My bill was the next day so got overcharged. Made a report about this and a few days later TM put in the RM50 discount and rebated me for that bill. Now waiting for my next bill to make sure everything is in order.
*
Hi soonwai,

The RM200 discount is for Unifi 100Mbps, right?
What about Unifi 50Mbps and 30Mbps? Do they enjoy the same amount discount?

i did a trial and error many times and concluded that NAT boost disable works the best for me.

i used to have issue with my unifi on video streaming at the start. but i had managed to resolve it after i discovered this.
