hey guys i have problem with my cylinder d link router

the internet globe went orange after i updated the firmware.. eversince everytime i turned off the router i had to reconfigure it for the internet to have connection.. called 100 but after a lot of troubleshooting the just end up asking me to chenge to a new router... do you guys experienced any of this? thanks

no problem here, still using the stock firmware that comes with my router.

I'm assuming your D Link cylinder DIR-850L router is provided by TM and you updated the firmware with the Retail firmware update? In that case, you should not have updated the firmware as it might not be suitable for use in your TM-provided router. The firmware is broke if you're using the cylinder D Link DIR850L router. If I were you, I would get another router ASAP, something better than the rubbish bin router.

Yes it is free for now until 31/12 this year. Maximum speed is 4mbps. As long the place got the hotspot then u can use it. Anyone can use it like you .
Just connect the wifi and then it will redirect u to a login page just tick the box and press button to start surfing, dont need other app as well.

You can use TM's app called i-foundit!(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=my.com.tm.tcennoc&hl=en) to automate the login.

Hey guys, just got mine upgraded from 30mbps to 50mbps. I live in Senawang area. Though after speedtest I only manage to get max 40mbps (dl) and average 35mbps (dl). The upload speed is fine. I had TM refresh port 2 times but still the speed won't move past 40. Any of you masters have suggestion? I use Asus RT N12hp (i know, its crap lol)
