QUOTE(ammarsweil @ Oct 6 2017, 07:00 AM) Hey guys, just got mine upgraded from 30mbps to 50mbps. I live in Senawang area. Though after speedtest I only manage to get max 40mbps (dl) and average 35mbps (dl). The upload speed is fine. I had TM refresh port 2 times but still the speed won't move past 40. Any of you masters have suggestion? I use Asus RT N12hp (i know, its crap lol) How are you testing the speed? RT-N12HP no problem handling 50mbps.

QUOTE(soonwai @ Oct 6 2017, 07:37 AM) How are you testing the speed? RT-N12HP no problem handling 50mbps. With my pc that is connected through Lan cable. I test at speedtest.net and at TM very own speedtest. I also try downloading video from youtube, the best I got was 5MB/s (if 50mbps, you should get somewhere around 6MB/s right?) but rather unstable. I just now tried TM silver router but the result are still the same. Dunno what to do now lol. Should I reset the modem (never done that before)? Should I reset the modem (never done that before)? your results are normal. give it a bit more time to stabilize. DL getting 5MBps is pretty good, can't get max 6.25 all the time, depends on seed n peers.

Public Inquiry Paper: Review of Access Pricing (MCMC) So...it is not a subsidy At least we know average lifespan of TM BTU is 5 years. Celaka punya celcom, the company really wanna charges users based on data quota. Luckily MCMC doesn't agree. Boycott celcom! Prepare to stuck with our current fiber tech for 30 years after its completion. Ever wonder why our phone call rate is charged at 20 cent per minute for those without RM20 STD Call Plan? Damn it MCMC. Based on data above, we can 100% expect only Unifi Internet plan will get discount, HyppTV RM30 will not get reduced, same with the RM20 STD Voice Call Plan

Call 100, they already change your up speed, maybe forgot to change your download speed.

QUOTE(Ben Ling @ Oct 7 2017, 03:49 PM) Guys, you all talked about complaining to MCMC ? Is it if I have not get my free speed upgrade can complain to MCMC through WhatsApp ? The best method is to first contact TM. Ask them for a timeline. If they exceed that timeline (make sure you keep any correspondence record Eg email, live chat screenshot, case ID), then you will proceed to complain to MCMC @ https://aduan.skmm.gov.my/Complaint/AddComplaint?NOSP=1 There you can attach the case ID from TM and all the supporting information you saved. With all supporting documents, you will get prompt action from TM within 3-5 days. I did this for two of my accounts and both got upgraded finally. At MCMC complaint website, choose the following options:
