Is UniFi Lite, fibre or copper, running on VLAN like UniFi?

vlan 500 for internet, but no option for tagging 600 for iptv.. in my case subb area the gave zte modem..
thinking about to change to this dlink...

Hi, I have a question would like to ask: since Unifi Lite didnt come with HyppTV stb, can I use my bro's HyppTV at my home to watch tge channels? Or the stb will only work base on the account that we registered on the modem, it will cant function if connect with Unifi Lite registered account (modem)? Thanks.

Previously I got ask already.
But sorry HyppTV STB link with unifi account based on MAC address. In simple, it is same as astro cannot put smart card at other STB.

Understand, i thought Unifi Lite jz didnt provide stb but can get one to use from other user, in this case, i think i buy a tv box is better? As sometimes i saw some old Chinese movies on HyppTV r no bad, but that channel didnt provide via HyppTV everywhere…

Just curious, anyway to watch Hypptv in TV then if you subscribe unifi without STB? I saw people selling the Hypptv STB online, if this is the case, those who bought the stb need to crack the stb?

The stb tied to MAC address of what? I always thought just need to key in the username and password of your hypptv will do.

I think u can buy an Android TV box and install HyppTV Everywhere, jz not sure can install on rooted device or not, i believe most of the tv box in market are rooted, right?

OIC, I saw from one the forumer that said " Told by the TM technician when he come to change my faulty old Hypptv box with new android tv box. i aksed him can i use 3rd party android box to to replace the TM hyyptv android box, he reply said can but need to update TM system with the android box mac address inorder to received hyyptv content. i didn't ask any further question, but after he done all the setup he did call to TM HQ to change the my old hyyptv box mac address in the system to new hypptv box mac address. "

Anyway, I will borrow the stb from friends who still have valid UNIFI with stb provided to test it out whether it can work in my house.

Hi all. Wanna ask if unifi lite phone cable is normal phone cable? Coz I need to connect it to my phone on another floor. Already have existing phone cables between the 2 points (the room where the btu and router will be and the phone on another floor)

No hidden charge....unless if you selected the wrong Hypptv pack....or you forgot about GST..... RM129 is GST-exclusive.

Or if you plan to terminate existing streamyx and wanna maintain old phone number and take advantage of RM1 (instead of RM26 phone line rental).....

No longer RM1 since July. Back to normal, line rental is now RM25 for PSTN.
Use old number and port into Unifi, instead of keeping old number at PSTN.

You can try this. Not sure it will work.
Configure your router with VLan 600 for IPTV on Lan Port 4.
Connect your bro's HyppTv box to Lan Port 4. Make sure his login id and password remain.
Update us on your result.

If I am not wrong, Itemised billing and CLIP may be chargeable for Unifi Lite VDSL.

I cant test yet due to Unifi no yet ready to install at my house, they r still working hard on laying fibre optic. Just ask in case need any setting or buy a new tv box. They told me estimate to ready on next month…

If I am not mistaken, the STB MAC Address is tied to the HyppTv login id and password.
