Why need to add spacer? Don't you think without spacer, the rim can go more inside so it will not hit the fender?

QUOTE(piglover @ Jan 7 2019, 02:43 PM) Not sure bro. that is a common sense. you get pick up but bad fc.After i got my car, can feel the pickup not so good. But fc getting better. Now left last quarter mileage about 500km Not bad leh 👍 less pick up, better fc. some car you can switch this function - eco mode. no such thing as best pick up and best fc at the same time. in between it is called efficiency |

Looking into the above comments, if 350km = half tank is not a good FC, then frick! My car is much worse. Mine full tank can only go far max 500km, sometimes 450km.
That means 500km/32L = 15.6 km. Yours is like 350km/16L = 21.9km/L! How do you do that? Just did my first car battery replacement exactly 2 years. The battery did not 'kong', just that my Start/Stop is sluggish AF. To Sifu, how do you know when to change tyres? Is it good to change whole at once or 2 by 2? |

It drops much faster from 1/2 to liw fuel warning compared to from max to 1/2.That means 500km/32L = 15.6 km. Yours is like 350km/16L = 21.9km/L! How do you do that? Mine full tank can only go far max 500km, sometimes 450km. that really depends on your tyres. if you had regularly did tyre swap (front/back), then all 4 should have been evenly worn, thus all 4 should be changedThat means 500km/32L = 15.6 km. Yours is like 350km/16L = 21.9km/L! How do you do that? Just did my first car battery replacement exactly 2 years. The battery did not 'kong', just that my Start/Stop is sluggish AF. My car not more than half year, also only able to go to 420km until fuel indicator lights up (AVG 400km+-, 13km/l only). That means 500km/32L = 15.6 km. Yours is like 350km/16L = 21.9km/L! It'is H7 or H11? Fogs H11 Planning to change LED bulb 4300K QUOTE(boygenetic @ Dec 30 2018, 03:33 PM) bumping own request. Remove your spacers. You're using 195/60/R15 tyres? It rubs like hell.on another unrelated matter, my new suspension setup kept hitting my fender even on the slightest bump. posted this issue in another forum and hopefully someone is able to assist. I just picked up my NCP42 few days ago and the tires kept hitting the fender. the parts that were installed for the entire suspension were: 1. APM Performax Absorber 2. APM Performax Spring 3. 250mm spacer 4. Front lower arm 5. KYB front absorber bush 6. KYB Front Absorber Mounting 7. SILICONE SATAY BUSH its driving me crazy. its lowered and the stance is nice but hitting the fender each time is stupidly driving me nuts. the cheapest solution 1. install spring buffer 2. install back the stock spring 3. Change to lower profile tires (do not wish to do this as i just changed 2 months ago) any advice is much appreciated. ![]() ![]() |

Maybe ease on the throttle and coast when nearing to a stop or corner. Normally in city drive, with one passenger. Any advise to get more FC? I am using Petronxs 95. Thanks. Slip to N when in standstill traffic. My best is 490KM in 70:30 city:highway traffic Having more than 70% air temp. level or 2nd level+ A/C blower also would affect your fc. |

QUOTE(yonghong @ Jan 8 2019, 02:24 PM) Yeah you should. It's pretty cold to me at 30% even. I always turn it down after getting the right temp. You ever driven the older model Vios? Our CVT compared to the old 4-speed is a huge difference in terms of initial acceleration. Old Vios only need a little bit of tap to accelerate but for CVT it needs more (tuned for fuel saving). That might be why you press the throttle more for it to go from 0KMH thus affecting your FC. But ours is a lot more fuel efficient in non-spirited driving cos 80KMH is only like 1,700 RPM when the older one is 2,000RPM (more cycles means more fuel burning). |

QUOTE(Chyan @ Jan 8 2019, 01:28 PM) Indeed it runs like hell. I have removed the spacer last weekend and no rubbing since then. I thought of testing till end of week and report back. Thanks for the feedback and solution. Also, anyone here installed a subframe braces before? Do they serve any purpose? I'm getting a front struts tower bar first when I get the chance. ![]() |
