Not anytime soon. It basically just cleared prototype stage and a lot more needs to be ironed out before mass production and sale can begin. I'd reckon 3 - 5 years before it gets here. In the meantime, lots of current engine needs to be sold off.. biggrin.gif
Most say it's underpowered. Take it for a test drive and if it suits your needs.. Pull the trigger.

Not true, the hybrid version is not just roll out from R&D department as stated.
China already launched (during July 2017) the Hybrid version as their local highest spec variant wheres the 1.5T as low to mid variant.
So I don't think it need to take 3-5 years in order to be introduce locally.
Honda Malaysia is being aggressively upon launching hybrid vehicles lately with the debut of Jazz and City hybrid.
If the 2.0 naturally aspirated Honda CR-V couldn't sell, just throw in the Hybrid or i-DCD / IMA and there you go, the Honda CRV Hybrid. brows.gif

My bad.. Read from a couple recent sources and they made it seem as I reported earlier. It was launched in China. smile.gif However, I still think it'll take the same amount of time as Honda needs to satisfy it's huge customer base in the USA, then other markets. Yes HM has been "aggressive" lately, but as history shows, we only get after the likes of Thailand and Indonesia.

P.S. I get what you mean but wouldn't call aggressive, cuz they are still holding out of stuffs others get as default. biggrin.gif

Anyone using Trapo? Do you realise the back middle seat mat is curved up? Doesn't fit entirely?

It's not exact fit but it doesn't curve up for me. You mean it has a bulge near the rear facing aircond vent?

Been using those regular coil mat in my previous ride. For 8 years never wash. Just regular smack smack for things to fall out if they do. Atleast Trapo can wash and dirt is visible plus looks better than those first gen saga rubber n heavy mat.

Still thinking either Ceramic Pro Malaysia or Golden Auto Detailing (Modesta)

Ceramic Pro is on the high end I guess - need to think for the wallet, so still 50/50

Another worry is I'm not staying in KL, so may be inconvenient for me to send there during any maintenance hmm.gif rclxub.gif

Thailand and Indonesia still not getting iDCD hybrid Right? Our Zimbabwe country is the first in the region, probably we will get the CRV hybrid ahead of them.. But then I just my CRV1.5... impossible to change again lol..

Been told 8-12 months to do some maintenance just to make sure the coating still good (since it comes with years of warranty) and if I have new body parts, they will coat them for free too. So I have to drive up all the way to KL sweat.gif

Avoid trapo mat at all cost. The design of the rear seat mat doesn’t fit at all. Contacted their customer service and they shamelessly ask me to return the mat to them and bear the return cost myself. Look at the picture, it doesn’t sit on top of the original Honda mat due to design flaw.

**UPDATE 21.09.2017:

Ms Kiew from Trapo came to my office personally to exchange the rear seat mat for me. Kudos to them, they did some modification to it and now it fits snuggly. She said future production for CR-V will be based on this modified version.
