Just place my booking fees, 1.5 Premium in Lunar Silver tongue.gif
I can get in few days if loan approved because this unit is loan rejected tongue.gif
So lucky!

Any comment on the EcoTint provided by Honda?

The HU isn't running Android and as such won't take apk installs.. doh.gif.. Get Android Auto installed on your phone, connect via cable and launch on HU.. Waze is available on AA. Not on Apple Carplay.
*
On my HU, it has App list, inside there have a App Installer, after select it it will show
"Cant found APK on USB root directory"

The other APPs "Browser" and "Download" UI is same with Android.

I'm using iPhone that's why I looking a way to install Waza haha, otherwise have to use Apple Map cry.gif

No.. With the exception of the 2017 BMW 5 series outfitted with their latest HU, all other supporting HU require a wired connection.
*
hopefully can support through future firmware/software update sweat.gif

Just finished my first tank fuel, achieved 667.7 KM, system showed 13.1km/L.
Pumped in 50.69L after that. Econ mode ON all time. 80% good traffic due to long weekend all cars flood out KL haha

Which type of fuel bro? 95 or 97? Is this model recommended to pump 97?
*
I pumped Shell RON 95 smile.gif I think 95 is enough, 97 might be more cleaner to engine in long run.

Could be. If CRV can't take advantage of 97 then not worth it. tongue.gif

Which type your CRV? Premium? I'm considering the one without Sensing don't think I will need them
*
Yes I got the premium. Honda Sensing really worth the extra money. Autonomous emergency brake , adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist really nice and more safety when we have to reply urgent whatsapp or msg.

Will those mechanical stuffs disrupt the driving experiences? Say if it helps me to brake or kept the distance while I chose not too, will I be able to counter it smoothly?

I'm not sure entirely how this works but if I'm driving on the highway all of a sudden there is a piece of tyre rubber how will it react or if I chose to react myself - will the lane keeping assist stops me? I guess it won't be that silly to disrupt our driving right?

I'm also worry about the maintenance of these mechanical stuffs. The sensors are external, touch wood if I hit the front bumper how much does it costs to replace that?

Any wise words?
*
It will apply light force to steering turn back to original lane when you changing driving lane if you didn't make a signal.
But I personally ok with it.

Will be receiving a TC-P this week. Just wondering, will the driver be too dependent on Honda Sensing resulting knocking to others when one is driving another vehicle without the technology.
*
Autonomous emergency brake only come in at the last moment, I only get sound warning when too close (I set the warning distance to far).

Hello guys

Test drove the CR-V and the Tiguan over the weekend and despite the better driving experience from the VW, am currently leaning towards the Honda for its safety features and tech.

Just wondering, noted that those who have bought the car don't go for the Honda authorised tints. Any reason why?

I've used Ecotint on all my cars and have only positive things to say so am leaning towards that if I decide to get the CR-V.

Cheers
*
I tinted from Honda authorised EcoTint, so far im so good to me thumbsup.gif

Nice. Thanks for your reply.

Any reason you didn't go for the Premium 6+ (the top of the line)?
*
I think Ray Berrier 4+ is good enough for me, beside that i heard 6mil film might damage the power windows in long term
