Hi guys... wanna ask your opinion.

Just bought Digi Infinite 150 + Huawei E5186

user posted image

Everything works fine except the voice call features.

I can use the home phone connected to the modem to call out... but when trying to call in, the phone doesnt ring.

FYI, currently im using the standard motorola cordless phone (which usually TM give out for free).

user posted image

Is the modem faulty? or the phone is faulty? any other E5186 users experience this?

Thanx.

Why you buy the E5186-61a model, doesn't support our Malaysian CA bands.

Try the tm wired handset first , see if it works.

Hi I have another question
I’m using Digi Prepaid Live at the moment
Going to change the plan to Postpaid soon
At the same time, I’m getting the I150 for home use as well.
So which one would you suggest to make it as a principal line and sub line?

The Infinite plan is a principal plan and not a supplementary plan.

Depending on which plan you signed up, you will probably ended up with 2 principal line with different account.

Did you try restart?
Sometime after we made call with it, it will change to 3G only which is damn slow...
*
Yea I tried restarting but it's the 4G router and the speed is still the same. I don't make calls on this line, got it only for the internet.

I called cs yesterday. They said they'll escalate my case and someone will call me between 24-48 hrs so I'm just waiting now.

Nope, Infinite 150 need not be the principle line. I subscribe i150 as my supplementary line to my principle postpaid 80 line

Thanks for the clarification.

What are the advantage with having it on supplementary?

So I150 as your sub line
What if in future Digi comes out with another better good deal postpaid plan and you decide to change your Postpaid 80, your I150 subline need to change as well right?

E5186 with Optus logo is not solely a 61a model. Mine with that logo but it's 22a, no issue on voice call. Eveything is working flawlessly.

Make sure you don't lock 4g in your setting. Switch it to Auto.

Is there any advantage? For me. My principal line postpaid 80 is my regular mobile number. I just subscribe infinite 150 a dummy number as my supplementary account to use it as wifi at home. Nobody calls me on my new number.

Need meh? I thought supplementary number is independent from principal line? As long as there is no contract, I can change plans anytime I want

Hi guys,
I'm using b310s with motorola cordless phone, no problem with calls but everytime after making calls the modem will stay on 3g. Will not go back to 4g unless I reboot the modem. Anybody have the same problem/know the reasons why?
