Hi all.

I am currently using D-link 2750E router for my home Streamyx 4MB (going to terminate soon once contract end in Feb 2018) which sharing with 7 of my family members. When one of them is watching YouTube, the rest cannot even load Facebook.

So I am thinking about getting the Digi I150 plan. Since I am also a Digi user, I can tell their internet here (in/outdoor) quite fast tough.




The D-link 2750E router comes with one USB port (maybe its for USB modem but I am not really sure)

So the questions:
Should I get a USB modem for my new Digi I150 and plug into the D-link router
or
get another better home router? (which one better and inexpensive)

and why the huawei routers are so expensive one

I’m using Digi Prepaid Live at the moment
Going to change the plan to Postpaid soon
At the same time, I’m getting the I150 for home use as well.
So which one would you suggest to make it as a principal line and sub line?

So I150 as your sub line
What if in future Digi comes out with another better good deal postpaid plan and you decide to change your Postpaid 80, your I150 subline need to change as well right?

Been testing the speed at differences times once I got Digi I150 SIM card.
Is this the faster speed that Huawei B310 can support?
My area cover LTE-A though

Yup. Landed house living room. I put it closes to outdoor car park. Always full signal. Will try difference places and test it just like you said.

Ohhh CAT4 only. Maybe will save money for LTE-A or 5G router once B310 rosak (touchwood) in future.

I’m actually satisfied with the speed. Cuz I just switched from lousy TM Streamyx 4m.

I managed to use the huawei tool lock the Digi Band 3. speed not bad la. 40-50mbps enough for my parents watch their movie
I am happy with my B310 actually.

I have been using B310 for half year now.
Maybe could consider your option when b310 retire in the next few years.
