Having tried both Digi and Hotlink, I would agree with you that Hotlink has better network and voice calls quality.

However, Digi is still cheaper and value for money than Hotlink.

Hotlink has plugged every loophole there is and they are not generous. The thing I like about Digi is

1. voice quality is clear IF the other party is using Digi Volte
2. reload bonus - RM100, you get RM110 and 120 days validity (hotlink only 100 days)
3. credit can be used to purchase GSC tickets, Watson offer, etc. I don't see this with hotlink.

With Digi, I can get unlimited (almost la, 500 mins to digi, 500 mins to non-digi) at RM38/month. Hotlink does this at RM60. A lot of difference for budget conscious people.

VoLTE and VoWifi require a good connection. Or else the line gets cut.

oh yea I forgot to mention, extension of validity with hotlink only allowed once after you are in the grace period. If you do not reload after you extend the validity, the system will not allow it again. ( they call it credit advance)

Sometimes, this credit advance feature will not be available if they see that your Hotlink usage pattern is passive only.

Digi has no such restriction, so far.

The place is in the jungle , DiGi won't entertain little group of people. I have tried to fix a better position for antenna, it seems to be able to lock at B3 now. Yet to observe for few more days.

No need WiFi even, the option to extend validity should appear in UMB menu (*128#) and you can activate 1 day validity from there, even in grace period.

I complained in April 2016 and they told me my area will be upgraded in October 2016. Sure enough in December 2016 when I MNP'd back to Digi from Hotlink, the signal had improved markedly. No harm in informing them.

Digi Best no more in their website , any new plans coming ?

gud luck in believing in digi. i've complaint to them for the past 8 months and yet peak hour speed never improve.this is as expected..

everytime i report the reason will be upgrading uprading and upgrading..same shit again and again.

Cant access Mydigi since 10am, stated "undergoing secheduled maintainance".

Current Best plan still available, it's just that DG promotes Live.

Best is almost an under-the-counter plan.

i suspect so. Hotlink RM30 unlimited calls, digi will definitely counter.

It looks like DG have responded with Live's all-network calls 9am-5pm after you spend RM2 each day.

Effective 5 March 2018, the SMS rates of other Digi Prepaid plans (except Digi Prepaid LiVE) will be revised.

DG so informative, always got announcement like this - the rates have changed, but we're not going to tell you the new rates.

I’m stretching my head how to get this. I have a talk plan with my internet plus. Digi has spammed me with text on this.

If you are on Live, I read earlier you get it automatically

And the RM2 needs to be spent on chargeable calls so that might be barrier if you have a plan with bundled calls.

Omg why can't tell the rates ?

4:30pm now and still cannot. Website is OK though.
