Can someone, maybe a DiGi dealer. check this for me please?

My mum's on "DG Prepaid Smart Plan v1". I want to change her plan to another digi prepaid plan or a postpaid plan. I have asked both live chat and by calling Digi's Helpline. Both of them said that it cannot be done for this plan, cannot change to another prepaid plan nor to a postpaid plan.

The only option, if we really want to stay with Digi, is to port out to another provider and port back in to Digi.

Weird no?

*DG Prepaid Smart Plan v1 is an old plan where my mum reloads RM30 every month and she gets 30-day validity, 60mins voice, 60SMS and 1GB data. It's kinda like a postpaid plan except it's paid upfront. But it's really bad nowadays compared to say Ambassador 38.

I share credit from Digi Prepaid Beyond, yes, I know, ancient plan, to Digi Best Prepaid v1 using MyDigi OK.

What app? you mean MyDiGi app?

No problem here for prepaid. I use email login instead of mobile number login. Dunno if that makes a difference. I have 3 prepaid numbers in my account.

I checked, it does not work for any of the reloads that I tried.

Is there a limit to how much I can reload into my DiGi Prepaid New Best v1? Because I keep reloading whenever there's a discount voucher on Lazada. Not much at the moment around RM150 but don't want to hit a limit and go through the hassle of a refund for a failed reload.

Its quite handy now with carrier billing for iTunes. One way to get some discounts and there's shopback too.

Min buy 3 lines. RM150.

Both min and max. You have to pay minimum or. maximum of RM150, in order to get exactly RM50 per line & 60GB to share. 150/3=50

I know. And it's 3 lines not 2 or 3.

Seriously? My apologies. You're right, I'm confused with all these plans. RM50* a month for unlimited calls and 60GB is very worth it. I shouldn't be even considering signing up for it. Digi! Here I come.

I don’t need so many lines so just plan to subscribe 1 line. RM50 a month I can definitely afford. 60Gb data some more. Fantastic.

Based on his confident reply and my wishful thinking, he's right. I just plan to get 1 line to try first. Been on Maxis all this while. Can't wait to try Digi. Only RM50, it's a no-brainer.

Indeed, I'm using Maxis and I'm paying 128+48+48 for 3 lines. RM74 a month more than Digi!

1 Principal (no sub line): RM150
1 Principal + 1 sub line: RM150
but would be more accurate like this:
1 Principal (2 unused lines): RM150
1 Principal + 1 sub line (1 unused line): RM150

True that. Very few complains with Maxis. Their service is very consistent. All my postpaid are with them. All prepaids are with digi because of SLL RM38.
