L3+ is for LTC.

You can't compare it to GPU based mining because they work with different coins.

Yep i know , just that i dont really know how to answer to my friend about Antminer is not profitable now , because in online market he saw a lot of it is out of stock which mean if out stock the antminer still profitable (people buying it)
Even from past till now, these ASIC miners aren't readily available.

Usually they will say X model available soon, then people order. Some companies had difficulty delivering as well.

Here's a news back in 2014. You want to gamble on delivery? smile.gif https://www.theverge.com/2014/9/23/6833047/...-butterfly-labs

Well at least ANTMiner is reputable, I guess.

Not quite right. Higher DAG size doesn't really affect efficiency.
The DAG stores fixed-length hashes of the blocks, not the blocks themselves.

Every 7 months the size increases by 1.2GB
This is what I read about DAG affecting efficiency. http://1stminingrig.com/amd-radeon-rx-400-...thereum-mining/

Which NV genĀ  u are looking at?

1070 is near 2700RM, 2200+ is gone by now.
1080ti is 4.2-5.5K

The price is actually not bad but do they sell the cards individually? I just need to buy 1 1060 6gb. I prefer Zotac because of their long warranty period.

Lol I wish I can afford to buy 2 or 3 cards at once. I will try asking them and see whether can I buy just one card.

it's not the most efficient mining gpu atm
from what i gather is that the architecture of the memory isn't as suitable as previous models
so yea, it's not optimized for mining, not best bang for buck, hence not the most recommended card

imho rx 400 and 500s will continue triumphing the mining category for gpu mining

Good to wait patiently than to buy overly overpriced. In the meantime, buy some coins instead so won't miss out the ride (if any)

If you have money now I'd suggest you
a) buy coins direct
b) buy hashing power from cloud mining sites

Eh? I remember you don't advocate cloud mining due to your bad experiences with Mt Gox and CEX.IO?

If you can buy hashing power from cloud mining sites, I'd suggest you buy coins direct as well
