So guys lets say i want to make a rig

If u have recommendation do please share it

Rig mining

GIGABYTE H110 D3A or ASROCK MOBO
8GB RAM

2x Or More 1060 Gtx (with more fan [any version])

Psu i have no idea what would be best?

I roughly calculated to get back my initial investment is ~9 months, if the market keep going down and the projected return is increased to 12 months or even 15 months I am still okay with it because there's not much business nowadays that can give such a return in a short period. Furthermore, the GPUs can be easily sell off if crypto mining is found not to be profitable in the future

I think that's the risk I need to take to earn some pocket money

so sad hopefully price wont go down further    hahaha that's a wishful thinking

i tried with the memory overclocking, can hit stable ~22.x mh/s
but my card unable to tune the power too low, unable to maintain 22mh/s
currently at 80%power only

btw, card is zotac 1060

Please do not SPAM with referral and cloud mining.

no issues.

just install the amd drivers first. use AMD as main card.

Then install nvidia drivers. Eliminated a lot of issues for me.

Hey guys, new to mining but not to cryptocurrency, would anyone honestly say that it is wise for someone to jump into mining at this time as I it seems to be the in thing at this moment , especially when PoS kicks in? Contemplating investing in a rig atm.

They day where gamers expect to purchase graphic card at low price going to come soon . Only manage to profit about half cost of 1x 1080ti

drop another 50% income will back to the bad old days. with current price, it is still double the money compared to the lowest i have seen in eth mining. i tried to warn peeps on the risk, the boom is just too crazy... lots of mining supporter bash me for being noob or stupid or typical new comer for mining aka mine today sell today bla  bla bla.... anyway, investment has risk and this is the risk im trying hard to warn new comers. never tot you went with all 6 gpus in the end haha. well who knows it willl happen after aug? maybe surge in price and make big money again or mining become less profitable or even less than electricity bill hence have to shut down mining rigs?
